This joint could use some attention.

It's cheap there, but not that cheap for a place that isn't a major fixer upper.
Hebbard street, old, looks like that.

Educated guess it's a very old cottage knocked up by Slav of some sort that immigrated here in the early 1900s to work on the mines. Highly unlikely it was originally constructed by someone that constructed houses for a living. Who knows what challenges are under the paint and plaster. Avoid.

And you didn't take it up? This is what becoming a family man does to you..
I'm yet to meet someone that operated a pub that didn't regret it. I guess that includes Steve since he wanted to move on, after putting heaps of effort and money in to renovating that one. It was one of the best too. Didn't really attract a party crowd, just regular people who enjoy a drink. A good drink. Had the best selection. If I wanted to drink, and not just get drunk, go there. Lots of top shelf spirits and beer, the only place in town you could get a selection of imperials and dark beers.

But the best thing about is the one side that's not in the pics that isn't freshly painted. It has a huge FOSTERS logo on it from the olden days.

I know this is just a meme for a lol but people also really buy into it as well..

Actors don’t decide that films will have guns in them

Writers / directors / producers do (but only kinda)

And any of those guys can write whatever they want, but it’s not getting $100m-$300m gifted to them unless the guys forking out that money have stone cold hard proof that people will give them money back for what they make. Stone cold hard proof like box office numbers etc.

If there’s guns in actors hands, it’s cause that’s what people are paying to see.

Hollywood cares about money, if people went mad for (and paid to see) people eat cornetto Icecreams in movies every film coming out would have an actor with a cornetto in their hand.

To an extent. Jim Carrey basically refused any publicity for Kick Ass 2 after he realised it was a... Violent film with guns.

Not sure how that doesn't get picked up reading a script, learning about his character, or even being aware of the first film, or at any point at all during filming, but yes, strange but he refused to promote it.

I'm struggling to get my head around the stupidity of America's gun laws. I heard a staggering statistic yesterday - Mexico is second in the world for shootings in 2022, with 8. America is way out in front with no less than 288.

And yet the gun lobby insists that nothing needs to change. It's mind blowing!!!
