Coopers Pale Ale is the most average thing on the planet, having a couple today confirmed it.

I'm not a Coopers basher either I think the stout & sparkling ale have merit.
Used to be a sensational beer when the brewery was at Leabrook. Very floral and fresh tasting.
When they moved to the current brewery they changed something.
I think they tried to please the masses and clear it up in the bottle, so it pours clearer. I dont think they changed the Sparkling and Stout.

What happened to Portia?? I enjoyed her controversial banter. I miss her. One thing that annoyed me though she wanted jails banned. Good luck with that. Did she throw her toys out?

Who was the lady in black?
Standing in front of the watermill is a figure dressed in a black cloak, portrayed by model Louisa Livingstone, whose identity was not widely known until 2020.
Livingstone was wearing nothing underneath the black cloak, and some experimentation was done involving some "slightly more risqué" photographs taken at the session. "We decided none of that worked.

I wonder if those other pictures still exist.
Witchfinder General took that concept a step further but I can't post those here.

£4 in the local, wouldn't be surprised at £6 in town. In a cheap city too. Min wage/my hourly is £9.50

This says average price hit 2 and half squid in 2010. I reckon I was paying that in the late 90s over there.

Articles probably won't paint a real picture but anyone here will grumble and say it's gone up heaps in the last few years. Wages haven't gone anywhere in at least 12 years.
