They should do an investigation into the impact Hinkley is having on children and teens.

We’ve already spent more than 2.5m on that. The finding was ‘bad’. The recommendation was to continue the research.

Housing crisis, homelessness & nanna can't afford a tin of international roast and a packet of lamingtons.. lets spend 2.5 mill to come to the conclusion that too much screen time is detrimental.
Phone bad give money now

2.5 MILLION DOLLARYDOOS?
What the actual ****. Do they have to buy the phones and video games for the study?? And what is the end result of this? A recommendation to parents to limit their children's screen time and monitor what media they are consuming, because guess what morons, it's ultimately not going to change a single thing.
It's actually quite repulsive how government have been spending the publics money, this is just a week after the SA government used tax payer money to fund a private concert for the privileged few don't forget.
But hey I guess Australia is so amazing there's simply no better use for the money so they have to spend it somewhere. I mean there's already cutting-edge internet connectivity available to everyone, a world class public transport system, hospitals are empty so all the surplus beds are being rented out, homelessness has been eradicated...
Keep up the good work guys 👍

There was a time I would have seen or heard about the riots going on in America at the moment and thought to myself, "what a crazy country, I couldn't even fathom something like that in Australia"
But honestly now I don't think it's that farfetched to think a fair chunk of Australians are creeping closer to their boiling point too.

If only we taxxed the rich more people wouldn't stress about losing 2.5million in tax payer money

Even if we did there would still be better things to spend it on than dumb sociological research pandering to a populist moral hysteria. For example we could spend it on legal prosecution of our fancy new tax the rich laws.
