no, it's further west down a lane on the south side of Jetty Road. Nice cinema, but I miss the old art deco one (Saturday kids matinees with prizes are a fond memory, although the movies were usually pretty low grade!).

Anyway, first solo school drop off with dad, ****ing perfect. Just walk in at 8:59 and say bye, hand em over. No need to turn up fifteen minutes earlier like mum does, have to fight for an eventually shit park that's a long walk, and allow anxiety to build in the kid. The efficiency was remarkable. Park right out the front, walk in, job done, walk out.

Also not sure if kids today have a better taste in music than what I expected, or the school hasn't laid new concrete in quite a while.

The media seem to be going bat shit crazy on the coverage for her, like she's Lady Di/Madonna/Michael Jackson wrapped up in the one person. I watched the end of the Superbowl the other day and there was more focus on her than Patrick Mahomes. Is she really worthy of any of this?

Plus shes been at it for about 20 years without really dropping out of the spotlight, which is pretty uncommon.

I'd never go to a concert or anything, but she's been pretty remarkable.
