In 1995 Louisiana State homicide detectives Marty Hart and Rust Cohle investigated the murder of a prostitute, 28-year-old Dora Lange. Her corpse was found posed as if in prayer, her head crowned with deer antlers and her body surrounded by twig latticeworks closely resembling Cajun bird traps. Hart and Cohle turned to a five-year-old missing-persons case of a child named Marie Fontenot. Around the same time, another child claimed to have been chased through the woods by a 'green-eared spaghetti monster'. While following up on the Fontenot disappearance, they discovered another twig latticework.
Years later Hart and Cohle are separately interviewed about the Lange investigation. Hart and Cohle have not spoken since an altercation a decade ago. The crime scene of a recently slain woman closely resembles the Lange murder scene, suggesting that despite Cohle and Hart's claims of apprehending the killer in 1995, the killer may remain at large.
How could it be him if they already caught him in '95? How indeed detectives?

THIS GAME IS THEMED, WITH PRETTY STANDARD ROLES. PLEASE READ THE OP CAREFULLY ANYWAY.
Basic Rules:
At the beginning of the game each player is given a 'role' at random and in secret (via PM) by the moderator.
The aim of the Villagers is to identify and kill all of the Werewolves and Cult Members before the evil factions can kill enough villagers so that (# of e.g. Werewolves = # of Villagers). Only one faction can win.
How are players killed?
Each 'turn' of the game will last approximately 24 hours and also represents one 'day' of game time, thus a game will go on for several days before it is concluded. There are two 'phases' to every turn of the game;
Night Phase (8:00pm – 8:00am):When evil factions secretly decide among themselves, via PM communication, which player (one per night) that they shall kill and then inform the moderator via PM. Others with a Night action also enter their actions now via PM to the Mod. Decisions for the night phase are to be in no later than 8am.
Day Phase (8:00am – 8:00pm):After the results of Night actions have been announced, everybody discusses and ultimately votes publicly in the game-thread upon which player (one per day) that they shall lynch and kill. Votes for the day phase are to be in no later than 8pm.
Obviously during the day the Villagers will want the group to vote for and lynch an evil player, whilst the evil players themselves will want not to be lynched; herein lies the fundamental strategy of the game:
Can the villagers identify the evildoers whilst at the same time convincing the rest of the group that they're not evil? And can the evildoers convince the group that they're not evil at all and thus avoid being lynched?
Werewolf Etiquette:
There are two main rules which everyone must follow in order for the game to run successfully;
DEAD PLAYERS MUST LEAVE THE GAME
If you are killed at any point during the game then you are no longer allowed to participate although I will allow a farewell post, but that post cannot impact the remainder of the game.
THERE MUST BE NO PRIVATE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PLAYERS EXCEPT WITHIN THE GROUPS LISTED BELOW
Anyone caught sending screen captures of BigFooty of any kind in this thread will be mod-killed instantly with no warning.
Anyone caught quoting PMs from the mods will be mod-killed without warning.
Missing 2 lynch votes in a row or 3 votes in total will see you mod-killed. Missing 2 night actions (if given a role) will see you mod-killed. You may choose to not use a night action but you must state so in your PM.
For this game we will not be using the Reason for Lynching rule. Vote for anyone for any reason at any time during the Day Phase.
Voting:
During the Day Phase players must vote for whom to lynch, your vote must be formatted in bold like this: Player Name.
For this game you may not vote NO LYNCH.
Upon the voting deadline (end of day-phase) the votes will be tallied by the moderator and whoever has received the most will be lynched and be out of the game: remember, once killed you cannot take further part; do not reveal your roles to anyone until the game has been concluded.
Any ties in voting will result in a double- or even multi-lynch.

Evil:
The Tuttle Cult:
The Yellow King (Cult Leader): His Night action is to attempt to recruit other players into the Tuttle Cult (making them Cultists). Is in the Cult PM. Note when players join the Cult they forsake all other allegiance and win only with the Cult (even Werewolves). They retain any abilities. There is no cap on the size of the Cult but if the Yellow King dies the Cult can't recruit.
Cultists: players that have been recruited into the Cult (and PM) by The Yellow King.
Iron Crusaders biker gang (Werewolves):
Ginger (Alpha): Immune to Seers (if targeted the Seer is told this player is a Villager). Gets to See one player per Night (submits choice to Mod via PM and Mod answers truthfully). Submits the choice for which player the Werewolves attempt to kill at night. Is in the Werewolf PM. Performs the nightly kill if DeWall and Reggie die.
Reggie LeDoux (Werewolf Roleblocker): Chooses one player per night to block (submitted via PM to Mod). Any Night actions that player may have had are blocked. Is in the Werewolf PM. Performs the nightly kill if DeWall dies.
DeWall LeDoux (Werewolf): Is in the Werewolf PM. Performs the nightly kill.
Good:
Rust Cohle (Seer): has the ability to investigate players at Night to discern their role.
Marty Hart (Vig): can kill a player at Night.
Maggie Hart (Doc): targets a player at Night to protect that player from death during that Night. Can self-target. Can't target the same player on consecutive nights.
Lisa Tragnetti (Hooker): chooses one player per Night to sleep with thus blocking them from performing their night actions.
Detectives Thomas Papania & Maynard Gilbough (Flogs): share a PM and know each other are innocent at the beginning of the game.
Villagers: no special abilities beyond being able to post and vote during the Day like everyone else. During the Night they do nothing. If you don't receive a PM, you're a Villager.
The Tuttle Cult:
