I haven't seen it posted anywhere, so I figured I'd just post it up for people who may not have seen or heard about it.

Turner, 24, has become the latest victim of Melbourne's salary cap squeeze, following Will Chambers and Joseph Tomane out of the club after signing a three-year deal with the Bulldogs on terms Storm had no hope of matching.

He said he was a bit "choked up" when he told both coach Craig Bellamy and his teammates.

I might be critical of Turner but for his size, speed should be his number one asset, and I don't think he's that fast (see last night). Not a target in the air for the kick given his height and struggles defensively (again, because of his size).
Won't be missed on the field in my opinion. Overrated.
Obviously a popular member of the team though.
As one of my rugby league loving female work colleagues said yesterday, 'Who am I going to perve on next year?'

Seems a waste now after what we did for him to get him out of Gold Coast, anyone remember the deal, who did we end up sending there

Turner lost his speed after that op to his knee where his cartlidge was taken out.

He's a popular player amongst the team and was willing to take a pay-cut to stay with the Storm.

I'm going to miss him because he always puts in 100%, plus he's cute:)

Turner has never really impressed me as a player, and the Titans signing fiasco was disappointing. I would think both Tomane and Chambers would be missed on field more.

He'll offer more in attack then Hazem i guess..

Not in terms of speed lol... Creagh gave him a 10 metre start and got him easily! El Masri in his day was a better winger and finisher (You cannot score 160 odd tries if you cannot play) and probably still is (12 tries and counting this year).

Yep, should not have been caught. Looked slow.

Turner's only just come back from injury but

I agree with deathy & Tugga on Turner. Seriously over rated for mine. I don't think Melbourne will have any trouble replacing him with at least an equal replacement, if not an upgrade.

Just out of interest, who were the two juniors that were part of the Titans "Compensation" two years ago?
