Just got on board. Written by the guy who did lost. A little bleak but very good television, with the second season particularly good. Filming just starting for the third and final season, so it's not going to drag on like Lost.

Thought the 3rd season started off poorly, but the last two episodes have been solid. Overall I think the show is in a decline, but only very slightly. Mind you anything approaching the hilarity of the "how many guys in a room could you..." scene is going to be hard to top for me.

Another great season of The Americans. Has been renewed for 2 more seasons, so plenty of time to wrap things up. Apparently its ratings aren't great...but IMO its one of if not the best TV shows running atm.
Yeah loved this season - one of our favourites too.

They have progressed Paige well because those type of characters have the propensity to frustrate and annoy the viewer.

I only say that because of the contrast in Stans mood. Seemed fishy. Oh well can't wait until next season now! Surprised more people don't watch it.

US. Haven't tried the UK, although you ways have to respect the originals.

Hooray! After five years of waiting season 9 of Curb your Enthusiasm has been announced. Guess Larry got some inspiration or a taste for working again after that SNL spot.

Very excited for this.
I watched the first 5 eps and then forgot about it. Not really that invested in the characters.
UK is heaps better IMO. Although some seasons are better than others with the actors coming and going. The Frank is better too IMO. Better acting.
I do favour British TV over US though.
Are they short seasons like British shows usually produce?

IIRC 10 episode seasons. I think there's 14 or a ridiculous amount of seasons though.

I really liked it. Worth watching.
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it or not, but Voltron on Netflix is excellent.
I loved it as a kid (still have the full set) and it's really true to the original characters (not that I'm really bothered by that kind of thing).
