Sons of Anarchy... predictable. Had to happen. Not really irony... just a cheap attempt. Can't believe the law wasn't on to them seasons ago with the trail of murder and "mayhem" they left behind. It was one of those series that didn't exactly jump the shark, but kind of got there. I'm looking forward to House of Cards S3, and True Detective S2. (Homeland doesn't want to die either... that's the problem when the exec producer is also the lead role...) Anyway... my entire viewing past time is made up of iffy downloads... footy as well. Lucky I live in a place where no one cares... and I have 200meg fibre optic connection lol.

Not the best but absolutely brilliant.

This weeks episode of the newsroom is the best TV that has ever been created.
If you like Newsroom (which I do), you ought to find "Studio 66 on the sunset strip". It ran one season, and is kind of like a pilot series to Newsroom. Sorkin as well. Another one that piloted a much more famous sibling is "The Corner". Only 8 episodes, but lead the way for The Wire.

The Christmas special of Black Mirror was amazing. Just been watching In The Flesh which is brilliant as well. Also the series final of The Fall is on tomorrow. It's been a good week.

Also Archer is back in a few weeks.

Just watched the first episode of Star Wars: Rebels. It's pretty bloody wonderful to be honest.

Has a real "original trilogy" feel to it. If you're like me and have no interest in the prequel trilogy or the Clone War era stuff, this is really worth a look.

Lots of smugglers, lightsabers, tie fighters, star destroyers and (at least so far) no midichlorians or parliamentary taxation disputes.

I've been meaning to go through The Clone Wars series for a while, because I've heard good reports... but if it isn't absolutely vital to do that before watching Rebels maybe I will get into it.

On a side note, I've been going back over the 90s Batman: The animate series, and it's still awesome. Looking forward to the point when I get up to watching Justice League: Unlimited again too.

PS. How good is The Flash! Barry Allen will be the greatest flash forever and Wally West just can't compare in my book.

For all Breaking Bad fans, Better Call Saul is looking pretty decent 5 episodes in, worth a watch.

Really? When I heard of the concept I didn't think twice whether or not to watch it. Seemed like the ultimate clutching at straws prequel... interesting

Thought the same until I watched it. After all it's the same people who did Breaking Bad so it's not going to be crap.

Anyone seen The Fall or Agent Carter?

Been watching Agent Carter. Atwell's great in it, but the overall set-up around her leaves a bit to be desired. Hopefully teething issues because at the moment it's all a bit disjointed.

Just finished the 3rd season of House of Cards. Had some good visceral moments and angst. Spacie is terrific.... if you like political drama that is, with an edge. The original series (British) only had 3 seasons... I'm wondering if they will drag this one along for more. It was left either way. I must be losing it a bit because sometimes I can't discern what is a finale and what is not. LOL.

Halfway through the third season. I feel each season has regressed a bit, but the first 1.5 were brilliant. Spacey is amazing

I really thought 12 Monkeys was going passable but relatively average SyFy content, but I'm finding it almost unmissable.

I love the movie so much that I am highly reticent to even touch the TV show.

I can understand that, but I've found myself able to separate the two properties very easily. It won't take the gloss off an old favourite at all (Terry Gilliam is quite capable of doing that himself) and in my opinion is quite quick to hit its stride.

I was initially worried that the cast was a little to young and pretty without having the acting chops to be anything more than two-dimensional but they have really surprised me with depth and nuance to their characterisation.

I am am bit that way but Caiphus has made a case to watch it. Is it on pay?

Just started on SyFy last week, so episode 2 is on Thursday - They are up to episode 10 in the US.
