please tell me why anyone would want to play for Heights unless they clean out the thugs I cant see them staying up next year.Good luck at the tribunal tonight he should get a few.

Nobody from Heights at the tribunal tonight. Might be one of your spectators there after the investigation though.

How does that saying go? Something about glass houses:confused::confused:

Re: U18 2009

For League BnF
Chances are,,
From Werribee, Dean, Pags, Watts or Taylor
From Altona, Vivoda, Auciello, Fogarty or Barrett
From Hoppers, Basile, Ramsay or Weybury
From Vales, Molivas, Mackey or Rich
From Willi (will struggle because they lost so many games), Mead, Calman-orr, D'Altera or L.Fairley
Spotty or Colts player wont win because they simply lost to many games, Glenorden should not have played A footy this year, so no player can win the BnF

The favorites would have to be Dean, Vivoda, Barrett, Molivas or Basile.

(WRFL website can't be used as an indication, for sometimes votes are given to some players when they just simply should not have been given)
yeh u wuld have to think it wuld be sum1 from there. i'll tip sav dean cause he always finds the footy. consistent. but no1 has dominated the comp this year. i will say smokey being tom weyberry from hoppers. has had a fair few b.o.g's. particularly the 1st 2 times we played altona really played well. wuld be suprised if he didnt get 3 votes for both games.

Re: U18 2009

Altona vs Hoppers this week
huge match, winner will play werribee to make the grand final!
I think Altona will be to good for Hoppers in the end, though it will be a very close match.
I'm tipping Altona by 3 goals.
Nathan Solarino to kick 5 goals!!
Weybury to get BOG!

lol weyberry. truu.
i dunno it will be close. altona hav home ground advantage. hoppers nd altona r very even as previous results have shown.
im quietly confident

Re: U18 2009

I know Fogarty has missed a fare few games, but in the games i have seen him play, he would be pushing for BOG in a fare few of them!
He is an in and under player, allways at the bottom of packs, and i think the umpires would see that and reward it.
But your right, the games missed will hurt him...

When did you hear that about healy? i haven't heard anything of that nature, sounds a bit weird though?

very true bangels is a great in and under player but would like to see his team mates reward him a bit more with his overlapping runs for that matter actualy the whole altona side reward the overlap players have seen 6 or 7 games of altona this year and by far they are the team that uses there overlap players the least and in particular fogarty who has the pace to burn opponents but poor disposals by team mates or just ignoring the runner have seen them overturn it too easily.....

on the healy note my brother goes to school with some of the jest boys and heard off him and by one of the other post is sounding true guess we will all have to wait til sat to see if this is true......

Re: U18 2009

ryan barrett for best and fairest this year!
he always gets the ball that kid!
and always in under under!

yeh u could say that number #44 from glen orden is always putting his head over the ball and probs have the most free kicks in the comp!!

Please we all know who started it so dont put it back on St Albans. Have you done anything about it or are you just one of those blokes that gets on the radio and says one thing but really means that it is ok to belt people when they arent looking and while the are out to it slam the ball into their head we welcome an investigation cause 13 wouldnt play again.

Re: U18 2009

anyone else got pros and cons of shaun from north sunshine? he did play a few years in a's but in 14s ive watched him and others from the sunshine area play over time and him alone with a few others stand out in an area i guess with not as much talent as others.

also anyone got ne ideas for a 18s Bgrade bnf???
or 18s dream team? for B's?

interested on others opinions

Possible Candidates for B's BnF are :

Shaun Englehart, Alex Gauci, Chris Foley, Mohammed Haddara, Trent Jones, Sean Hudson, Nathan Calleja and Igor Bera.

he was playin jets but has an injury at the moment. will not play this week for either jets or hoppers. good skills both sides nd strong in a tackle.

Heard a rumour Jake Carr's got a major fight on saturday night and wont play for willy vs vales. Any truth??

Also Jack Gray playing for Willy CY's this week...

Yeah inside player with good evasive skills in heavy traffic and good core strength. Earnt his spot to play at a higher level and def held his own.

Noticed a young guy form sunshine (they called him Baz) playing one game in the 1's this season on my travels and seemed to go alright. Anyone tell me if he played enough games in the 18's and if he is any chance of b&f?

Yeh Baz can be a good player, his disposal lets him down sometimes though. But missed to many games to be up there in the votes.

This has been the only real issue with Bas over the years. He has no trouble getting the hard ball, hard as nails, but correct disposal does let him down at times. The few games he played in the seniors this year, once he found his feet he was able to work through traffic well - stepping out if U18 next year will either make him or break him.

good win by willy on the weekend hoppers crossing watch out!
yeah seen a bit of that game #27 for vales should have been reported for his whack on #3 of willy but didn't happen.

Jack Gray to be drafted what person would be sdilly enough to do that,
the only person that thinks he will be drafted is jack himself :p he thinks he is better than he actully is, last year did take some backward steps in a couple of games I seen.

He must be doing something right, several AFL clubs wouldn't be sending him letters otherwise.
not to mention the invite to state screening. I reckon get off his back...
