That depends on how you use you him.

His ability to play like an outfield player when he has the ball at his feet has been integral to our style of play and earning a spot in Europe. He's probably the best keeper in the PL at doing that.

He's had some outstanding games in the last few months after he had pushed Sanchez out of the starting job.

Steele has been De Zerbi's first choice for the last part of the season which has got them into the Europa League. There have been games where he has the most touches of any player. A goalkeeper who can retain the ball and pass like an outfield player is essential to the modern tactics of coaches like Pep, Klopp and De Zerbi.

Unfortunately, England have a dinosaur for a coach. Southgate is happy to select Pickford who is a good shot stopper. But watch any Pickford game and you will see him bang it long and they lose possession.

You'd think Henderson taking a retirement package in Saudi would effectively end his England career. Not sure what the point of continuing is when he spends a season at a much lower level going into Euro 2024 at 34 years old.
