Right, that's a very potent forward line for sure. The fact you have Macrae probably tips you slightly over the edge in terms of overall production at this point though i think he probably only has forward status for a season. Miller is the same though, i fully expect him to break out and play solely as a mid this year and thus you probably have the better forward line. Perhaps you'd be open to swapping out the Hulk for Daniher at some stage if they're both producing at a similar level, the demon goggles make me kind of wish i owned all of our young guns

PS - I am very unlikely to select key position types, so my side in this format won't look as nice as others.

Still a bit early to go with strength and weaknesses, but overall I am okay with how I am tracking category-wise. I will say that I dont worry at all about score accuracy, frees for and frees against.

Of the 'big 6' so far scoring and tackles are my strong points, and marks probably my weakest - but still lots of time for improvement - I only have half a side so far.

I like my age profile so far though. 3 players 21 or under, and no players over 27.

Once I selected Naitanui my focus wasn't on this year, but I am still aiming to be very competitive! We will see how it goes..

Reasonably content.

Decent mix of youth and experience, and none of the older guys should be retiring anytime soon except maybe Mundy.

HOs should be all good.

Scoring shouldn't be an issue with Betts, Riewoldt and Watts. On top of that Taylor will be playing forward and Gray and Goldy were good for 40/50 between them last year.

Decent without being outstanding in some of the other cats. Marking looks strong.

Put a fair bit of faith in guys like Kolo, Billings, Kelly etc being able to go to that next level.

Pretty pleased overall, the Naismith pick the only big brain fade but was still in line with my overall targeting of guys in the right age bracket of 20-26. Oldest guys on my list are Hibberd and Mcevoy at 27. Don't see any glaring weaknesses in any particular cats at this stage and i think quite a few of my guys have a ton of improvement in them while still having a team that should hopefully push for finals from year 1.

With 6 positions to go, there are areas we need to build on.

+ A midfield brigade that'll be in the best for 5 years+
+ A buzzy FWD structure that will help with those Midfield numbers

Lacking in MA & SCOR. Thinking the FF/FA differential ain't great either but this can change quite a lot each year I'd imagine.

All going well, a few gems who have slid will end up a Meerkat and we'll be a top 4 side for many years to come.

Despite the lack of height...Imagine having these lads available at your respective footy club... wow! Very happy with where things are at. Plenty of lads still available that are worth the punt to add depth and take this team to a flag OR simply smash the youth department. Safe to say the Meerkats are young enough as is with only 3 lads over 26(that's a guess, I don't actually know).

Last two UTILITY spots are pretty important with regard to strategy but after that, it's open slather. Going to be an interesting run home on the drafting front. Halfway there lads!!
