Team is shaping up nicely now, a lot of young talent which may or may not pan out. Good spread of positions on my bench so far. Loving my 'reach' for Mills going on form from the weekend, wouldnt surprise me if he's a top 3 defender this year though he's a decent chance to lose his def status come next year. Hopefully a few of my young defenders will come through by then and Mills can merge into a very deep midfield.

Ok so just to clarify on the trade veto topic, this is how it's going to be. I am leaving it so that only i can veto trades. If there is a trade that someone thinks should be vetoed they post their opinion here on bigfooty, we then debate it, people can give their opinions on why they think it should be vetoed and then i will make a decision based upon my own opinion and the arguments that have been made on both sides. I will only veto a trade in the most EXTREME circumstances. We all have our own teams and may do whatever we want to our own lists within reason. It will have to be an incredibly ridiculous trade for me to veto it. I think the veto-ing of trades reguarly will ruin the league and ruin trading as well as pissing off any managers whose trades have been vetoed. If i see a manager start doing ridiculous shit with their list or it looks like a manager is just taking the piss and has stopped taking the league seriously then I'll speak to them about it and possibly replace them. Otherwise i see it as pretty unlikely that i veto many trades if any.

Yeah, that was the plan Deeman, get in first on the basis that I thought that the other teams would concentrate a little more on building and developing young elite teams; therefore giving me a chance to take out the first flag. Just watch now, I will probably fall flat on my arse.

Love your centre and half forward lines F2G, very, very strong. Will be very high scoring.

Look at you hoarding all the young stars. Bont, Heeney and Truck in one team? Disqualified by the commisioner, you will be forced to trade the Truck to said commisioner... :p No but seriously having those 3 is ridiculous, arguably the 3 most talented guys in the comp 22 and under...
A little light in terms of scoreboard pressure, want a young goal kicker to compliment your young mids? I have 7, all are on the table for the right price and all are under 25...

Haha targeting those 3 early with my picks was always my plan!

No big forwards on my list but I have Laverde, Day, Kersten, Hill, S.Edwards, J. Roughead waiting on the wings!

You should get some big forwards, Dixon can't do it alone! Come this way sir, i have a number of newly minted key forwards, very little mileage, good fuel economy, 3 year warranty, you can't go wrong... :p

Category wise your strongest category I think would be Marks, and I imagine you will go very well with Kicks and Tackles too!

Weaker categories might be Hitouts, Handballs and Scoreboard Impact, but you will have weeks where you will score very very well, and you do have some potentially big accumulators that should only get better and better. I don't even try to guess the other three categories!

I:

Strengths - youth/potential. Depth surprisingly, out of all my ressies there are only 2 I dont expect will get games from the start. Love my backline, reckon it could be a real POD. 2x r/f gives me great flexibility in which categories I target.

Weaknesses - Do not expect to go very far this year. Perhaps a little light on gun mids, another 2/3 really good mods wouldnt have gone astray.

Draft Summary - most of pieces fell to my pick, rather than targetting individual players it was about targetting youth, positions and certain stat categories at each pick.

Nice team Fernando2Gibbs but deeman87 who needs a big fwd haha:

Meerkats

Greene - Motlop - Caddy
Hrovat - Darling - Cockatoo
(emg :: Lennon - C.Curnow - J.Galluci - J.Battle)

Now that's a bad boy fwd line hehe

Looks like you need a key forward for sure. I know someone who won't be winning the score cat. But yes, i messed up a little and took too many key forwards, i hope to slowly rectify this situation at the trade table. On the upside, 2 of my key forwards (Lynch and Daniher) are elite and will get just as much of the ball plus loads of marks and goals as most in your forward line. On the downside, i definitely wasted a pick on Bruce, good thing i have so many key forwards that he's easily replaced...
