Looks like you need a key forward for sure. I know someone who won't be winning the score cat. But yes, i messed up a little and took too many key forwards, i hope to slowly rectify this situation at the trade table. On the upside, 2 of my key forwards (Lynch and Daniher) are elite and will get just as much of the ball plus loads of marks and goals as most in your forward line. On the downside, i definitely wasted a pick on Bruce, good thing i have so many key forwards that he's easily replaced...

Bruce was quite a late pick though, you got good value there

He was a late pick, that's just my thinking, oooo can't pass on Bruce in the 19th round. There were better options though, Z Jones would've been nice. I think I've overvalued key forwards a bit though. However a few on here are also undervaluing them. Hopefully my midfield depth fringe guys get back to their best form and allow me to play 4 to 6 talls and not get crushed in kicks, handballs and tackles. We shall see, it will become apparent after a few rounds who was right to some extent i guess.

Ok, slight exaggeration saying JD is elite but i don't see any reason he doesn't move into the elite category this year. He averaged 13 touches 6 marks in an Essendon team that had by far the worst midfield in the league. I'm expecting 16 possessions and 8-9 marks a game this year at a minimum. There isn't a defender in the league that can stay with him in the air with his height and wingspan. Oooooo Viney, gimmme. Should certainly be interesting to see what happens year 1. I'm expecting my team to be in anywhere in the 4-14 range considering my team is fairly youthful. Couple of older teams this year will romp it in i think in year 1. Going to be interesting near the halfway point where certain teams realise they should concentrate on youth and start trading all their older guys. My team is a decent chance to do that with a few guys in their prime, near the end of their prime who will have a lot of value to teams in win now mode.

Haha. Funnily enough i was actually already discussing with Frost the possibility of getting a 3rd manager involved to facilitate a JV trade just last night. There isn't really anyone on my list who is off limits at all in the right trade. Probably the least available player on my list this year is Touk Miller since he's the only forward i have who i can see averaging 25 disposals a game. Oh and you'd probably have to pry Mills from my cold dead hands haha.

Fwiw, the fact that it's categories actually makes Cyril a better option than scoring. He's the most accurate player in the league and will fill up your score and accuracy cats as well as being the best tackling forward in the game as well.

A fair few of us are getting a bit bored of the draft now and these last picks are pretty uninteresting. If you time out now it's obviously not a big deal with the scraps that are left.

STRENGTHS - Ball winning ability of the midfield, mids are also goal kickers so that will boost the forwards, rucks appear strong with Martin and Archie Smith backing him up and Tippett's hit outs to top up the category, an injury to Gawn would be handy too Hoping I've got plenty of depth to ensure a full side each week.

WEAKNESSES - Quality in the backline, top end youth talent. No doubt a whole lot more once matches start!!!

You forgot T.Hunt on the HBF too Those five are the ones that need to be replaced by the likes of Sexton, Menadue, Markov, Byrne-Jones, Aish, Hipwood, Rioli and Gresham etc, and that could happen quickly!

I really like this team, probably one of my favourites which isn't surprising considering you definitely sniped more of my picks than anyone else by a long way.
