Lol Dimma posting 1am Sunday morning wondering if theyd reached a decision on the goal reviews

There was so many bad decisions but the one that really stood out to me was the block paid against Lynch a meter behind the goal line. Then Tarrant gets a hip and shoulder inside the goal square in a marking contest and no free. Bewildering!!!

Read somewhere that one umpire paid 20 frees against us and 0 frees for us? #13.

Surely that can't be right and if it is, surely it has to be looked at.

No coincidence the dissent rule coincided with the over-officiating and raft of bizarre and bewildering decisions we've seen this season.

The NFL happened to introduce the taunting rule the same time as betting was becoming legalised in the US; umpires there now have a mechanism to reverse the result of a play if they decide a team celebrates it too hard - how convenient...

I'm not sure of exactly what the money-trail is here, but no doubt it exists...

Sounds like match fixing to me

Nah. He penalised Redman for his elbow on Prestia.

A lor of talk going on about umpiring. Notably the ride the Dees got and the number of frees paid in the Hawks Lions game.

Once again nothing raised about the discrepancy in our free kicks.

Hilarious.
At a mates party yesterday and I was talking to a bloke about how terrible the umpiring is.
He was a ******* AFL umpire!
He laughed his arse off, agreed the rules are stupid and got another beer!
Was a bloody good bloke.
Surely you should have paid him off $$ 🍆 whatever it takes to get the umps onboard ;)

And he is the most belligerent in the way he speaks to the players - all too often it's not what is said but how it is conveyed that gives the best picture.

I am sure the umpires are already at the SCG practicing how to give free kick Sydney.

It will be tough for the Umpires this week - looks like it will go against all their natural instincts this year:

hahahaha what a ****en surprise

wtf who cares about random isolated free kick issues. of course they want to talk about a tiny fart in a canyon

our problem is non stop continual harassment from the afl and their umpires. they rape our club every week and the media stays silent about it because they are on the payroll

its not a level playing field. we need to sue these campaigners. its no different to being harassed or marginalised in the workplace

I have no issue with the ones we give away (for the most part). We ay a physical game style and often we push players, or execute a sloppy tackle.

My issue is the ones that we get pinged for that we never get in return. All the times that Prestia, Cotch or McIntosh get pinged HTB AFTER Diving on the loose ball yet the opposition get away with it.

Or all the little holds. Or the ducking. Or the dropping the ball. Or the throws. Or encroaching the protected zone. Or stepping. Or dropping the ball after a free but no 50.

All of these happen against us multiple times a game. Yet nothing. But the umps blow the whistle harder than Julian Assange when we infringe.

The inconsistency is what is mosr frustrating.

Agree OH&S ought to be right on it!

Expecting a number of Swans goals from Tiger 50's this Friday

Silly suburban ground sized SCG means a 50 against us on the half back line will put Swans player into the pie stand behind their goals.

6 goals better off already Sydney #catchupfooty. And the winner is Sydney.
