The last 3 games Freo gave away 15,16 and 23 frees. Play Richmond and they give away 3 frees up to halfway through the last quarter.
The Richmond play on the edge argument only effects how many frees we give away . Shouldn’t have any thing to do with how many we get.
It’s corrupt needs to seriously be looked at

Not in our game, but have a look at Raynor's first goal for Brisbane yesterday. He's run 25 metres without a bounce. How the umps missed it is amazing - they've even got the 10 metre goal square there to give the run perspective.

Raynor started 3 goals squares out and ran into the goal square to kick it.

Go to about 1:25mins to watch it. If you want another point of reference that at least the commentators can see, each of those mowing cuts are about 9 metres in width. He starts at 3 cuts and runs diagonally to 0.5 cuts. Now, even if your Pythagorus is a little rusty that's approx 25 metres.

Of course the commentators don't mention it.

More than once I saw a Richmond goal followed by a quick free kick to Freo straight after the bounce.

It looks match-fixing. Smells like match-fixing. Sounds like match-fixing.

The same suits who ultimately run the league (AFL House's overlords elsewhere, not the puppets there) also run the sports betting industry.

It is a bad time to be deemed to be too good.

Same thing happened against Port. Non existent centre bounce frees to turn the momentum back to Poort.

I’m starting to think we might even get called to move it on quicker than other teams . The last 6 years have been great but the umpiring has taken its toll on me .

Something we do get called on 100% more often than others is ‘not 15m’ …. Oppo teams almost never cop it, but you’ll notice when 15m is in doubt for us it’s ‘play on’ nearly every time, especially in forward 50m.

I think it’s happened in almost every Richmond game I’ve watched this season.

And, whatever the frees are for, we never get them when someone kicks a goal on us.
Watching the VFL and it was obvious there also it's beyond bulling we should take the corrupt AFL to court but we need to get a really good Corrupt Lawyer if we are to succeed lol

The problem is most decisions can be regarded as ‘correct’. So in post game reviews, there wouldn’t be heaps of blatant frees missed, and therein lies the problem. So when a 50/50 doesn’t get called our way, the umpire is not marked down as being wrong. And when they call a 50/50 the oppo teams way, it’s also not regarded as an error. So when Fyfe is not penalised for HTB, in review the head of umpiring would say ‘didn’t have prior and tried to dispose of it when knocked out in tackle, so play on was fair call’.

Then when we get pinged for exactly the same thing in the same game by the same umpire, the review would say ‘whilst he didn’t have prior he didn’t dispose of the ball correctly and just let it go, so fair call’.

So unfortunately I bet that Freo game didn’t result in loads of howlers. Just a heap of inconsistency that isn’t picked up in post game review, so the muppets think they umpired well and without bias.

So we simply don’t get a fair share of 50/50’s. We probably get 25/75, which explains our shocking for-against record for 7-years. Some teams like the Dogs get 60/40. Freo and Crows st home get 80/20 of the 50/50’s and so on.

We are all emotionally invested so know what’s going on…. nobody else cares and I get that.

Ps … how hard was the ARC looking to give that late goal for Freo last night? Lynch’s goal in the final was over turned in 3-seconds. This was looked at for 2-minutes about 25 times, with the ARC desperate to say ‘you can see daylight between the ball and the post … my decision is on the scoreboard’ …. he tried and tried and tried … but couldn’t find it as the ball hit the post!

up until last night I thought the umpiring had been OK this year, we were even winning a few free kick counts - but last night was diabolical! Its gunna get real bad if we string a few more together
As SunshineBoy said - betting companies control the AFL. Someone posted the other day Richmonds odds to win this years flag jumped from $101 to $41 after beating Freo. So a fair bit of money has gone on the Tigers. If we do make the 8 we are capable of beating anyone, especially if big sexy is back. Make no mistake betting companies know this. Bring extra lube if we go on a winning run.

No other word comes to mind than corruptuon and the AFL seem to push the same villians into our games so they are to blame as well, they can not hide from this nor the media ignore it.

Yes ,every third umpire decision has a replay from all angles EXCEPT Lynch’s,more shenanigans from the AFL.

Spineless umpiring. Ran at least 25m probably closer to 30m.
But because it was a Port home game, he didn't want the backlash.

I feel like that all rules go out of the window if there is a chance of a goal at this point

People talk about Short being punched in the face on the weekend in full view of the umpire just before a ruck contest.

Anyone remember when it roughly happened? Trying to find it, but don't know when it happened.

Thanks

Tbh I think these campaigners aren't corrupt , about 75% sure , because that surely can't be it , usually these conspiracy theories are not correct.

I do believe that they are shit at their job though and deserved to be called out and blasted.

I remember the Cats game and one umpire refused to pay us frees.

Every htb was a play on call,it was blatant corruption.

I think the umpire was from Geelong so the AFL obviously raced him in for this game.

Cmon AFL,come clean.

It seems to me the AFL know our club’s strength is tackling and are trying to remove that element from our game.
