Another lesser known player is Edward Carr from maffra.
John Butchers partner in crime and just flat out dominates. Midfielder, big strong body, around 6' - 6'1'' and is pretty quick and goes all day.
Will become more known during 08 season, extremely talented, currently training with Gippsland power. He also won the WGLFL U16s league b+f with 38 votes dispite playing only 14 games. In the Sale/Maffra derby, collected 65 disposals and kicked 6

Blease himself, have known him since i was a baby and played footy with him.
Heres a name i think will make a real impact this year and i thought was very stiff not to make the Vic metro team last year . Jake Carr a very strong player and a guy who looks after himself . For the life of me i cant see why this bloke is not rated . Only thing i can think of is they may think he has finished developing .I have watched him play a lot of footy and havent seen him beaten to often . He'll make a good backman and with his boxing he will have a great motor if his confidence isnt gone . i hope he really makes a statement this year because i think this is one bloke they got wrong.I'll be watching his form with w/jets with a lot of interest.

NOPE he rolled his ankle at Falcons so it coulda been that with Vic C training when he was at Goshs on crutches, but defintely NO SURGERY anywhere. He's good to go now and trained well yesterday with Vic C in Ballarat.
Why would Blease train with Vic C when he is a Vic M player and they also had training yesterday???
Yes he was scheduled for surgery before Christmas with bad groins.
Blease definently had surgery on his groin.

Well the above post is wrong cause Sam Blease plays with the Eastern Ranges - well he did last year - maybe he has moved - if not the above post is talking about someone elase.
I have been doing a bit of research and speaking with a few players from the ais that are close with Blease. And i can confirm that Sam Blease is playing with Eastern Ranges this year he hasnt transferred to Geelong Falcons. He hasnt had surgery on his groins. Apparently he has just had a cleanup in both hips.
