i believe all he needs to do is play for the 1's in the finals and eltham would certainly make the grand final if not win it....his stab pass is definately a key part to his game, also his endurance, has a huge tank and can go all day
I don't know how you can make a statement like that. Eltham are now out, and greensborough are in the grannie. No-one seems to mention boro even though they haven't lost a game all year, clearly the best side so far. they fixed up Eltham easily both times, without a full strength side.

Mate all I can say is move outta eltham and shack up in boro.
eltham were unlucky on the weekend. missing the likes of Trent Mcalister, Josh Anderson and Chris 'The Nugget' Dell. with those 3 massive outs it was limited to numbers, which forced them to bring up players that were in their first years of football.
so don't even comment on their game if you don't know the story behind it.
BTW Epping are the scummiest pack going around. if you could see under the packs they were giving the biggest cheap shots. I wouldn't of been suprised if they're runner ran on to hit someone.

its so funny how everybody talks about eltham like their actually good! obviously its their own players..

These players you mention are randoms they wouldnt of had an impact.
And my comment on the game is Eltham clearly got outplayed.
their skills and physicality couldnt compete with epping on the day.
epping had a bloke that kicked 11 goals and he wasnt the only bloke with multiple goals... sorta sums it up!

Boro ( the raiders ) easily won the grannie, underfeated all year, showed their class in the big game. Monty were o.k for 3 quarters then were overun in the last. I think the close game in the second semi spurred boro on, and they got their running game going. Well done to all the boys in this division, there was some great footy played by all the teams doing the year. See you in 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
eltham are a team of youth moving into the seniour club so any of u little virgins rattin out the panther will be biting your words come the day u make the transition to seniour football.

this just proves that eltham have alot of up and coming players. greensborough may have won the flag in the 17s and congrats but a club that actually respects and rewards their up and coming young players are eltham...greensy couldnt give to shits about developing their youngsters once they hit the senior club..

Interesting you say that? Care to reveal your true identity. i believe that ummm 27 kids from the 17s that are top agers were sent a letter to be down there next year?. The club has had 5 17s train with them this year. 1 of them went onto play 3 games in the 1's and the other played a game in the 17's. Also the whole lot of them were a part of a training session. Greensborough developed 'elite' youth and were still able to finish 5th. Quite amazing after they were stuck in div 2 for so many years.
Also i did see some of the players/ secretary down at the grand final.

what a stupid statement yet again from OTP. im afraid ur whole statement is untrue and did i mention stupid enough? how the hell would u know how greensy treats their juniors in terms of becoming seniors, because clearly u dont. like gleava said the club has been working hard on making sure all the players stay at the club next year and like eltham have already been injecting youth into their side over the last 2 years. oh and guess what have been more successful then eltham in those two years. i dont even play for boro anymore, i did last year, but am just fed up with you eltham people stupidly thinking that just because you play a stack of kids for 2 years you think its going to make a successful senior team. well guess what your wrong, any team could do that, any team could play as many kids as they want, but at the end of the day all their doing is getting used to losing everyweek. your better off getting a few more older, experienced people in the team, winning a few more games and beginning to build a winning culture for the young kids. dont get me wrong i applaude what your trying to do, and if all the youngsters do stick together they may yet bond to become a decent side, but your not going to be a contender by just promoting 19s i gaurantee you that. im afraid it doesnt work like that anymore.

Don't judge my statements being wrong champ u havn't even replied to how "spyka" has prooven u wrong about ur woeful statement....it was not even a dad bashing...New comittee came along this year and suspended the 2 players that were involved from drinking at the first 2 club functions. No beames allowed at the Greensborough Senior Club. Signs all over the joint. Dowser will give me one of his great speeches

sorry mate im still under 19s..and if u care to post dribble about someone playing 1s or not where will u be playing next year. well i wouldnt care about playin 1s to much at eltham considering u pov ***** cant get the pay cheques coming in and have struggled to make a final series ya whole lives.

gleava gleava gleava its not all about the money my friend. although seniors havent made finals for a while the 19s have won a flag and finished 3rd in the last two years. this has interested alot of other youngsters in coming down to the club which will in turn provide revenue for the club. Y.S for life

i am not from greensborough and i dont play there, but the future of the club is a very bright one, with the champion squad of u17s coming through, few more years and all they need is a couple older experienced superstars. the idea of boro 19s being a force next year will attract up and coming u17s, also st.marys matt fowler will surely drag at least 6 or 7 kids from the grand finalist squad, the whole club and they will be a force to be reckoned with in the near future, im talkin up with the likes of nth heidleberg, bundoora and mont.. and elthem?? they are sh*t now and will be sh*t for the next ten years
