That's an interesting one. As much as I agree Hillside would be the best option not sure the club would like the 19s to be playing at different venues to the seniors as usually trainers and that all all games. I agree they should at least offer the option. What about the other premier clubs as they might not like it either..

Avondale are apparently short as well for numbers with a heap playing Seniors.

Greenvale struggled last year and had U16's some weeks, they have lost a couple from last year so I would suggest they will struggle for numbers again.

Will be interesting to see what happens with some of these clearances with a lot of Abers boys wanting to go across to marby

It's hard to lose a bunch to the same club but realistically 2 that they denied weren't playing premier at Abers anyway so let them go and chance premier footy

I'm not going to disclose that info on here. But he has been told by the docs not to play footy again.

Most of the time the pending guys have been cleared they just need to register online for it to change. So I'm assuming both Barba and Davey have been cleared just need to register to make offical. The only exception is if the clearance is less then a week old. Clubs have 7 days to respond

You are right, Makes a lot of sense. I forgot about that little rule of 7 days.

8/9 pegs boys aren't continuing this year. Only one is Horomidis. And the obvious clearances that have gone in. But they have recruited a few and still have plenty of talent in the squad. Add stone, Dench, cachia and hickmott. You have a pretty potent team again. They did win the gf by a long way so losing a few just brings them back to the pack. Will go close to winning 6 in a row.

They are still the team to beat for sure

To be honest I can't actually answer which players they are. I just heard from the coach the numbers. But you never know as well... the pegs boys might get itchy feet during the year and decide they want to play.

I can't name all the recruits. But they did pick up a lively indigenous boy who knows how to find the goals.

Well they certainly helped in the 80 point gf margin. To be honest I think Abers were still finding ways to win without them. Still plenty of guns in the list. They just not be as far in front of the pack and have to really work to win it this year.

Just interesting that they haven't finished on top in the last few years. But have won flags later in the year once pegs players are back.
