Pretty sure Huy did a knee in the last few minutes of last weeks game. Didn't sound or look good. I think I heard something snap from where I was and he clutched his knee

History shows they can (and often do) add a player late from outside the first group.

For guys who didn't get picked, don't give up because good form is too hard to ignore!

A great example of this is Marc Murphy. Last year he didn't make the squad or play any on the trial games, but due to good form, came in to the side and played every game as a bottom ager!

even better example Xavier Leslie who made Vic country u/18s bottom age and was in the initial squad last year as a top age player but was then dropped from the squad to make way for somebody else who was preforming outstandingly in the TAC

pat hasett (oakleigh) last year made the initial squad was then droped, he then got b.o.g againt nth ballarat and made the final team.. which again proves the list will continue to change based on form

Andrew McGuinness, unlucky not to be considered i reckon, played for brighton yesterday and got 40 touches. and has been playing well for sandy. what are anyone elses thoughts?

In the 2nd quarter it was the Nahas/Murphy show. At one stage I thought there was Nahas triplets on the ground. Nahas kicked it to Nahas who hand balled to Nahas who drilled a pass onto the chest of Dowler.

He got to be worth a Vic Metro game.

brendan tyquin and jake de sousa any one else think the same
Yeah, these two have had a few mentions in other threads.

Noticed they both got in the best players today, as posted above just because they weren't picked now doesn't mean they cant end up in the squad.
