Were it not for the excellent case I bought when I got my phone, I would now have a busted ass phone, after it flew across the room on Saturday night...

We’re clearly a mid table club, and will likely remain so for many, many years. Aside from the gargantuan cultural rot, a young first-timer manager now has to rebuild a totally broken and unbalanced squad that has AT LEAST half a dozen gaping holes. And he has to do it:

- All while probably losing our best player for **** all
- In the current COVID environment, where our financial inadequacy and overall lack of ambition will see us fall even further behind the actual good clubs
- With a campaigner of an owner (and his inept son) who has shown complete indifference towards the club for about a decade

Why on earth any good players would want to come to, or stay at, this club is truly beyond me. And even if a player like Partey was stupid enough to, how exactly do we plan to afford him?

Our central midfield would get bullied by a fair few Championship sides.

Also, on the Leno thing - the reaction to Maupay’s challenge has been way over the top. And for our players to get nasty with Maupay only after he scored the winner is hilarious. Absolute pack of flops.

Have we heard anything about Leno yet?

Arteta really needs to work on his game management. I think he has given us the correct formations and structure heading into games. But trying to make changes and substitutions in game seems to be a pretty big weakness of his from the little I have seen.

#AFC are looking to strengthen in central defense, central midfield (holding midfielder or B2B) and a wide player is of Arteta's liking (Willian could be an option). Some at the club are already fed up with Guendouzi and want him sold.

Taken from Ornstien's podcast on the Athletic.

Interesting that people in the club are sick of Guendouzi if true.

I said earlier I would sell him now as well, but I know that there are some who think he is worth persevering with.

Really disappointing, The Athletic also suggesting Soares and Mari have both been signed up to 4 year contracts. We are not an ambitious lot at Arsenal at the moment. These are West Ham level signings, with the improvement across Leicester and Wolves we will be lucky to be making Europa league with our squad.

We will be in the wilderness for a few years. I wouldn't mind of we were blooding youth and going that route, but we seem to be relying on list cloggers like Soares and Luiz.

Another big issue besides the defence and midfield is lacazette, i'm a fan don't get me wrong but going from our best player last season to struggling to get into the side over nketiah who struggled to get a start at leeds is a major concern, he has been awful this season, with aubameyang having one foot out the door suddenly our forward line has major issues as well

If we can leverage Lacazette into Partey then it needs to be done (and Laca is probably my favourite player). Atletico have had their interest in the past.
