I know Benatia is 31 but that could have been a good deal to have gotten for a loan/year or two deal. Instead he’s gone to Qatar..

Looking at our squad there is so much that needs to be done;

PEA, Lacazette, Bellerin (LTI) Papa, Douzi, Leno, Torreria, Nacho, Holding (LTI) and Kolasinac are all good enough to be kept.


I'd rather we do Perisic/Carrasco in this window. If we need to loan Ozil to Inter then so be it. Welbeck can go in the summer and i'd look to move Iwobi for the right price.

Suarez doesn't excite me at all and if Ramsey is going to stay til the end of the season then i'd rather wait until the end of the season to deal with the midfield. Mkhitaryan and Ramsey can work the #10 role until the end of the season. If Mkhitaryan can't string some form together between now and then put him on the chopping block too. El Neny isn't good enough and should be gone seasons end too. Still not sold on Xhaka either.

Defence is such a mess with injuries at the moment trying to fix it during this window isn't possible, just ride it out until the summer then see what's happening with Kos/Licht/Jenks/Chambers/Mustafi all likely to be leaving the club.

Lot of work ahead for Emery and his team.

Sell to who? I believe he’s just about wrapped up a great deal for him at Juve. No one is buying him with 2 days to go in the window when he can walk for free in 5 months time.
