Played 4-2-3-1 against City in the Community Shield and ever since.
I'm certain we've been playing a 4-1-4-1 to accommodate both Wilshere and Ramsey in the midfield. If not that then a 4-3-3 like so:

Giroud
Ozil ----------------------- Sanchez
Ramsey - Wilshere
Arteta
Gibbs - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Debuchy

Rabiot has been linked for a while. Seems more of a long term solution rather than an immediate DM, but from all reports would be a very good signing.

Got up early this morning to watch on sbs, loved it! (no foxtel:()
great to see Jack tear it up and hope he keeps turning people inside out and burning them all year. Ox was lively.
Ozil:confused: hopefully just getting over his world cup hangover.
oh yeah, big fan of chambers, anyone else think he was a great signing?

I don't think we'll buy a striker - there's no point buying one for the sake of it. Numbers wise we are okay.

I'd like to see us try Campbell there. He seemed to do okay for Olympiakos and Costa Rica as a #9. So why not Arsenal?

Problem is, what if he isn't any good or struggles?

An injury to Sanchez leaves us - Podolski, Yaya and Campbell......

One hasn't scored a competitive goal for the club
One has played only 1 game and is a complete unknown
And the other was about to be sold (and isn't effective as a lone forward in our formation)

Someone like Remy would give us just that little bit more safety.

Wenger doesn't pay £90k a week for safety. He's already pointed to our striking options in our squad as predicted earlier.

I share the same fears about burning out Sanchez though, there's every chance he'll be in the red zone by September/October at this rate.

Chambers selected for England.

**** off Hodgson.

And Theo.

Who doesn't get much of a chance to be fair. He did score a hattrick once playing as a #9.
