I think one thing to remember is that all empires have fallen. No saying that the US will fall under hopefully 2 years of unchecked Trump (if Dems can win the house in the midterms), but the US will no longer be the dominant world super power at some stage. It's a question as always of when, not if.

Kamala Harris's policies weren't added to her campaign page for ages and no one was aware of what they were. Trump's campaign or his supporters (not sure which) mocked this by creating one for her. She then added policies and it was found to be directly copied and pasted from Biden. She was asked on multiple interviews what her policies are and all she said was she was raised in a middle class family. These interviews are pretty funny watching them in whole as Trump supporters and basically sums her up as a candidate from a Republican perspective. She then went on to copy Trump with the first policy she ever mentioned in an interview with tax on tips just to top it all off.

AND i am hoping the establishment will have a lot to answer for when Trump comes in.
Way less LGTBQRSTUV+++shoved into kids' minds.
Way less gang shit
Way less wars --hopefully.
NO more Trans in sports.
AND much more policies that favour his country.

We would be lucky if we had any politicians like him. we did, he was Kennett and after saving Victoria we trashed him..
I don't agree with you about Kennet who sold off key assets. Trump would never sell out like that
(I thought I had lost my original post and didn't mean to conjoin the two)

We take CNN seriously now? So hard to keep up.

Which commentators just out of interest, give some names so I know to disregard anything these people might say in future lol. Policies aren't the reason Trump won, Trump didn't even have any bedsides "tariffs", the rest are just thought bubbles and the usual grievance shtick. A worse take I can barely imagine :drunk:

The left and democrats do

Jake Tapper breaks it down well. And if he's saying it, then you know its grim.

if you dont want to accept it, by all means dont. But burying your head in the sand isn't going to help you.

Trump’s core constituency of mostly white, working-class voters in rural America showed up in force, winning him the critical battlegrounds of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia. He also picked up Iowa – three days after one of the nation’s most respected polls found him trailing Harris by three points.

Why do people keep pushing lies that can easily be fact-checked?
Because it's not a lie:

Careful presenting a false claim to fact on this forum, stefcep.

The American public being notoriously well known for not voting against their own interests :tearsofjoy:

Heh. I think this is spectacular. I 100% endorse the argument that the reason people disagree with you is because they don’t know what is good for them. I find the most persuasive argument for anything is to tell people they are stupid if they don’t agree. It works on my wife all the time. Any time I find myself losing an argument with her I quickly switch to, “You just think that because you’re a moron!” It wins her over every time!

Might be sooner if Sleepy Joe orders Seal Team 6 to assassinate Trump, then claims Presidential immunity.

It's the cost of producing that product which is the key.
Businesses are essentially out to make money.
That means cost in terms of seeking out low cost materials and workers.
If they can do it cheaper elsewhere and keep the price relatively the same they will make more money.

Look at the average wage for manufacturing for countries like China, America and Australia.
China just make products that are luxuries and not necessities.

People cant afford food and a house right now in alot of places. The cost of a iPad and BYD isnt all that important to anyone right now

Will be interesting to see who the Dem's go with in 2028. I like Buttigieg, but don't think there's anyway they can put up a gay man. The US just won't vote for him. You can't put up another woman.

It needs to be someone young. Maybe Shapiro?
You know the answer...

Something that worked in the early 1900s won't necessarily work today unfortunately

Issue is they said **** it and just started printing money instead of using the taxation. It's a changed system

Getting rid of taxes will just mean people who can't afford to eat can. You will have to pay a bit more for your iPad and your 60,000 dollar car to achieve that but i think the pain is worth the gain
Taxes are there to take money out of the system. They don’t pay for anything in that sense. The government creates the money to spend and it’s balanced with taxes taking it out to prevent everything from inflating.

Without this the government either has to cut back on government spending in which case poor people suffer due to the necessity of government spending (schools, healthcare, roads, infrastructure etc.) Or they don’t cut back on spending and the increased money in the system is inflationary which means poor people also suffer as the cost of everything goes up.

Kennett had no choice at the time, the unions chocked Victoria to near death.
its complete common knowledge he saved Vic and bought it into surplus.
In any case, i think they have similar personalities.

They're establishment idiots mate (CNN), more out of touch than the Democrats themselves.

Lost count of the number of segments Kulinski has done on them cheerleading Israel's genocide in Gaza (just as one example) :drunk:

It was the Latino vote that won it. Harris failed to shore up that base. It went up 50% for trump. And women vote went down for Harris as compared to trump.
Women and Latinos for trump .

How dare they decide for themselves who to vote for. Who do they think they are?

Electing trump is a symptom of their clear decline

right...........

Anyone that disagrees with you is an idiot, even the commentators that are democrat leaning, which is the candidate you supposedly support.

Jake Tapper is a pretty respected commentator. As soon as he says something you dont like. Boom he is an idiot.

Classic response and why politics is far harder work than it should be.

Maybe just select the best candidate regardless of their genetic pigeon hole.

But is it true or not in the case of the wider American public? They think being able to afford medicine and hospital stays is socialism (again, just as one example) :drunk:

Their culture, this rugged individualism thing they have going is a huge part of both sides of politics being able to manipulate them to the degree they always have, especially so in regards to the working poor.
