Another clown who lacks comprehension skills. Once you factor in all the income taxes and then the taxes on the after- income-tax money, many people pay far more than 45% of their money to the government.

Are you a public servant and don't want people to know that?

I couldn't care less if you call it income tax, or consumption tax or a levy, its ALL tax.

LOL, the squirming. You said 3 days out of 5 to illustrate the 60% tax that your fellow idiots were wrongly focusing on.

If a person has taxable income of $100,000 in Australia, their effective income tax rate is about 23%, up to 25% with Medicare Levy. There is no way it nearly doubles for everyone at this level due to indirect taxes.

This is the sort of ignorance that enables a bullshitter to be elected.

Enough Dems are second amendment that there will be a next election.

Plus if Trump tries an amendment for a 3rd term Obama probably comes out of retirement and he is more popular than Trump.
You’re assuming that he will hold elections…remember he has a hard on for dictators and full immunity

Good news for you is that everything you said above is wrong and is pure fearmongering from those who you get your information from. You can rejoice, no Republican is banning abortion at a Federal level. No LGBT are being denied access to healthcare (unless you're talking specifically about gender transition programs for children - which is a different issue). Rejoice, the things you are concerned about will not happen. Thank Donald Trump for that.

Huh?
The problem isn't that there is a Federal ban, the problem is that due to Trump's actions, by 'sending to the states', is that states are banning / restricting abortion at a state level.

He himself has claimed credit for this, and I do "thank" him for that.

I'd rather be taxed more and have our social welfare state than less tax what the US have.

Thanks Sam. I agree with a lot of the above, but just flagging that it can feel very all consuming once you think someone is a dictator or a fascist and I don't believe that view of Trump is shared by the majority.

Then they are mistaken.

He literally has over and over stated this is what he wants to do.

It doesn't really matter what the majority view is. He wants to do it.

The 13 Keys

  1. Party mandate: After the midterm elections, the incumbent party holds more seats in the US House of Representatives than after the previous midterm elections.
  2. Contest: There is no serious contest for the incumbent party nomination.
  3. Incumbency: The incumbent party candidate is the sitting president.
  4. Third party: There is no significant third party or independent campaign.
  5. Short term economy: The economy is not in recession during the election campaign.
  6. Long term economy: Real per capita economic growth during the term equals or exceeds mean growth during the previous two terms.
  7. Policy change: The incumbent administration effects major changes in national policy.
  8. Social unrest: There is no sustained social unrest during the term.
  9. Scandal: The incumbent administration is untainted by major scandal.
  10. Foreign/military failure: The incumbent administration suffers no major failure in foreign or military affairs.
  11. Foreign/military success: The incumbent administration achieves a major success in foreign or military affairs.
  12. Incumbent charisma: The incumbent party candidate is charismatic or a national hero.
  13. Challenger charisma: The challenging party candidate is not charismatic or a national hero.

Shes not wrong though. Same thing happened in 2016, guys chanting "Grab em by the pussy" etc. I think its worth listening to women and other minorities on their prespectives on this.

Again you will find some people from these groups who agree with Trump, but it does give tacit permission for many to say the most vile and disgusting vile, sexist, racist, homophobic and transphobic things imaginable, as Trump has catered for them.

As I said, not everyone who voted for Trump is a racist, sexist, white supremacist. But none of those groups would be unhappy with him being elected.

LOL - picks a number that fits his narrative and and then acts all superior when the number number fits the narrative.

This is what leads to progressive being put in their box for another 4 years.

Who the feck is Abbie Chatfield?

And who tf is francynancy - the person whose twitter post you posted here to make a point about God Knows What.

C'mon. Not sure what your intention is here but all you're doing is letting us see your social media feed of clueless nobodies that apparently shapes your views on politics and life.

It's pretty embarrassing.

You think progress is bad?

I would argue with these keys now.

1. They held less less didnt they? The dems that is, so no.
2. Well the did the switcheroo, so I will say they miss that key too
3. No key
4. Key tick, there was no third party significant
5. No key, people just go on vibes on this one
6. No key, again vibes
7. Is major change good or bad. Either way no major change, so no key for me
8. Yes social unrest, no key
9. No Key, i am counting their denial over Biden as a scandal
10. No Key failure re Gaza.
11. No success, no key
12. No charistma - no key
13. Challenger charisma - no key

I should of checked his keys before hand, no wonder she lost.

No, I picked a number that represents the average, so therefore appropriately relates to the majority.

You clowns focused on the absolute outlier in one tail of the distribution (probably not on purpose, it was clearly your ignorance on display yet again).

You're losing badly, but hey, I'm happy to keep telling you why you're wrong if you want to keep digging.

You think progress is bad?

I think our overly progressive tax system is bad. I think far too much of our money finds its way back to government. I think that that encourages profligrancy, waste and a culture of disrespect by our public service about our money. I think that leads to debts that taxpayers have to cover. In other words it leads to what the likes of Dan Andres and Jacinta Allan have done to Victoria
