Hope Busta doesn't suffer too much from today's game. it was over 4 hours, despite the 4th set and he had a slight knock on his hip I think.

Did Nick criticised Busta? Lol

I don't mind Busta, he is a consistent and smart player.

I still remember his lost against Nishikori at the Australian open. He was fuming over some line call.

Thanks, I haven't seen that for a while.

yeah, he did. as you can see above. It is the Nick wheelhouse to criticise anyone he thinks plays clay court tennis regularly and he underrates them for it. See the south American part of the tour.

making 2 semifinals in a grand slam hard court kinda dilutes his point that Busta is a clay courter though. he is a grafter, no question, and I wouldn't have him in my dream team come grass season, but he got the results to prove that he is a capable, former top 10 player.

Totally forgot about that angry incident by Busta. Loved seeing that at the time.

Busta had every right to react like that. He was robbed of that match after what was a real intense battle.

Oh yeah, he was robbed big time. Doesn't make it any less funny though.

dam it, Serena takes the 2nd and looking likely to go onto the semis.

Serena drop off slightly but Pironkova just lost it. It's amazing what they've achieved so far. But yeah can't defy nature in term of fitness level for both players.

US open having technical dramas with losing power to the screens around the court and they are flickering, distracting the players. If i remember correctly, there was some kind of drama last year, with sound issue i think playing at important stage of a match, seems US is prone to having issues that disrupt the tournament

Alex is playing well. He just keeps hitting it a whisker too long or hits it into the net when he has the points won. If he can fix this up he might win a set. Thiem is playing well but hasn’t had really good service games the last couple of his games so if Alex can win some of those points he should of won and get some confidence up, you never know what might happen...
