What part of deporting illegals is hard by the way? You keep saying that open statement of restrictions but are not explaining why those restrictions are a barrier. You say the economy relies on them... who? All Trumps donors said they rely on H1B and thats what they want.

I have no doubt illegals are used in the economy... but not by Trumps backers.... so why is Trump going to leave them in the country if his donors dont want them? You can use the ol "But Trump has illegals at mar-a-lgo" hope but given as of 2 weeks ago he said he wants to replace them with visa workers I think we can kind of say thats what he will do yeah?

Illegals make his enemies stronger.... not the US economy. He wont let them be strong cos you want them to be. The illegals will go, the visas will come in. This is the policy position he has.... direct from the person who bought his way into the administration in Elon Musk

Roughly Half of Hired Crop Farmworkers Lack Legal Immigration Status
The share of hired crop farmworkers who were not legally authorized to work in the United States grew from roughly 14 percent in 1989–91 to almost 55 percent in 1999–2001; in recent years it has declined to about 40 percent. In 2020–22, 32 percent of crop farmworkers were U.S. born, 7 percent were immigrants who had obtained U.S. citizenship, 19 percent were other authorized immigrants (primarily permanent residents or green-card holders), and the remaining 42 percent held no work authorization.

One aspect I should say is, What percentage of the 7.2 million illegals which came in in the last 4 years is that btw? Lets say its 300,000 workers. Is deporting the 6.9 million before it not a case of deporting illegals over 4 years?

What percentage of the 7.2 million do you think are seen as essential workers? I actually dont think he will keep them since he doesnt need them. European farmers will be lining up to come over for example.

Lets say he does. How many of the 7.2 million would fit into the above bucket over the last 4 years? If he deports 95% of the illegals its still well deporting the illegals im afraid.

I take that on board that its a difference between WILL and WONT so will apologise for that aspect

I just dont understand your concept of WILL and the WILL TRY only. What is this magical being that leaves it at the concept of WILL. bourbons says the concept is laziness. I think you are saying its the concept of it will piss off too many people and cause too many issues? I think it will piss off people and cause issues..... for his enemies. The small minority aspects where it can impact his voter base like farmers as you say he can just fix with a open cheque book and free reign over all government agencies.

I guess we disagree on the will ATTEMPT. He wont ATTEMPT, he will COMPLETE. Nothing will stop him since nothing can.
I'm talking about the US ECONOMY.

Who is going to pick the crops?
Who is going to work the agriculture positions?

Forced labour??
Force US citizens to work those jobs?

WHO IS GOING TO WORK THOSE JOBS?

Agriculture is one of the key pieces of the US economy.
Gutting half of the entire workforce will collapse the US economy.

It's not a matter of Musk, Vivek, Trump whatever... caring or wanting something.
It's about what will actually happen.

Please please please answer any of this.
If Trump removes half of the US agriculture work force, what will happen to the US economy? The cost of living? And inflation?
What will happen to all the countries dependent on those exports from the US?
What will happen to Australia's economy, if the US economy collapses?

Trump cant deport millions and lower egg prices at the same time.

He needs to choose one.

They're not essential workers.
They're undocumented labour.

I'm saying that Trump will attempt to deport almost everyone.
I'm saying that in general he will be supported in detaining, deporting and harming almost anyone.

But that he won't be able to remove half of the US agriculture workforce.

You didn't take in a single thing I just shared with you.
What was the point in me showing you this information? You don't care, you don't take it in.
Instead you're just arguing against positions I don't hold.

You said he wont be able to deport people because of barriesrs but now he will try deport almost everyone? (which is the truth)

Its hard to take it in when you are not consistent post to post. The workforce you are focusing on is 2.4 million people all up.. of which only grew by 200,000 since Biden took control. 200,000 of 7.2 mill is a pretty small number to base a entire policy failure around id suggest.

I can accept he will keep farm workers... but keeping 5% of the illegals isnt a policy failure in my eyes. Removing 6.5 mill of 7.2 is a win

Homan has indicated they will deport so many illegals, new deportation jobs will open up around it.

Exciting new business opportunities will present themselves (think Jims Mowing but for deportation services,) growing the economy even further.

There will be similar opportunities for growth in the trans regret sector (this is where people have regretted transition - after Trump bans such procedures - and now need to trans back to their assigned birth gender.)

There is so much excitement for a Trump presidency it has hit me like nobody’s business.

You said he wont be able to deport people
Quote me then.

Quote a single post where I said he won't be able to deport people.
I've consistently said he will deport people, and block entry etc.
I've pointed out that there are some areas he probably won't be able to.

I've never said he won't be able to deport people at all.

When you can't find a single post where I said he won't be able to deport people. Will you take a moment and reconsider if you might be attributing statements and positions to me, that are not mine?

He literally told you. Visa workers...

Why are you ignoring what Musk/Vivek/Trump have said and pretend like it doesnt matter at all?

Why do you think visa workers wont be able to come and work in America? What exists that can prevent this from happening besides the fact you believe the system is too complex as it stands...despite the fact he can change the system whenver he wants...

At this point you are just arguing that when Trump/Elon say they are going to do something, they wont actually do it. A person with complete control over all branches of government wont implement the policies they are talking about.... in other words, just blind hope.

Oh ok.

Yep. He will deport half the agriculture workforce.
He will replace them with Europeans on H-1B visas.
Logistics don't exist, because Trump has all the power.
He will write endless cheques to Agriculture to fill the discrepancy between minimum wage, hours, OHS etc etc... and what existed for undocumented labour.
He will write endless cheques for accommodation, transport and inspections to fill the discrepancy between the living standards for desperate undocumented labour and H-1B visa workers.

And none of this will have any negative impact on inflation, the cost of living, US debt or the global economy.

Thanks for clearing it all up.

You just said he wont be able to deport farm workers... like no other farm workers exist on this planet that could possibly come in to do it?

In any sense their will be 1 million people in Washington looking for a job. I think they will be able to pick a apple from a tree...

Do you think the people who claim that Trump didn't try to foment an insurrection and prevent the peaceful transfer of power, know they are lying?

I don't think Trump tried to foment an insurrection any more than the following people did.

He also didn't try to prevent the peaceful transfer of power any more than Hillary Rodham Clinton did.

That doesn't mean I think he couldn't have come out sooner to subdue the protestors.

Basically all of the above except he will massively impact the global economy. He will do this to lower inflation and improve US debt... since thats what he said he will do

Lefties see inflation as some uncontrollable beast that cant be stopped... because thats what they tell you. Its easily controlled and manipulated. I mean if it wasnt then you concerns over Trumps tariff increases make no sense.

Trumps going to use the global economy to improve his own. My position on that is, who cares. I dont care if Chinas economy fails. Infact I pray it does. Someone more ethical can take its place. If I lose 10% of my wealth to stop child slavery then im all for it... as should most people

Of course. All makes total sense, thanks.

Can you set a date where you believe Trump and his administration will have started to implement this?

When will he start rounding up and deporting agriculture undocumented labour, as he replaces them with H-1B visa workers from Europe.

Rough date you expect to see it start?

June 2025?
October 2027?
Rough estimate.

Just a clear and concise statement. For example. -"Trump will start replacing undocumented labour in agriculture with H-1B visas in may of 2025"-.

Do you really think Europeans would move to the USA for lower pay and worse health care?

Farm workers will stay potentially. They dont need too is my point. Its a option to remove them but whether he does is up in the air. Wouldnt promise it one way or the other. All id promise is they could if they want.

Start date will be day 1 by removing criminals.... which is alot of people. My rough date of when this starts and ends is it starts on day 1 and never ends. It will be a 4 year deportation program that extends to 8 years when JD Vance comes in

Its less estimate and more of a "How many people leave and how many come in, whats the net aggregate of these 2 results"

I think illegals will decrease by about 6 million as a aggregate in next 4 years. 1.5 mill a year, 4000 a day which is really just 20 bus loads. Its not the impossible people will say
