whats gonna happen next year, seven was cashed up but now there seems to be a clash? Will 7 on sell games or races or what?

I don't know much about how long races go for, but could they have something like this on a sunday:

12.40pm-3:20pm Live match
3.20-5pm V8 Race
5pm-8pm Live match/delayed if in Melbourne with news at Half Time.
Make Sunday a major day for sport on 7 especially with preview shows, sportsworld, football panels etc.

12.40 is a bad time for matches to start, so 1pm might be better

Motorsport News listed the potential coverage as

Noon: Live V8 Race
2pm-5pm: AFL
5pm-6pm: Delayed V8 Race

OR

Afternoon: Live V8 Races
Followed by Twilight Footy.

The clash would only occur 6 times during the season. However it doesn't mention how 2 AFL matches would be shown.

and don't worry V8 fans coverage should be increased with Qualifying and the Saturday Race meant to be shown live as well. Also the Gold Coast Indy V8 and Champcar round will now be shown on 7 as of next year.

AFL have said they are not interested in changing scheduling or start times to suit seven. They did a deal that beat nine so AFL said they have to stick to it or lose the contract (I assume). Eddie wanst the AFL back badly so he would do all he can to get it if he gets the chance.

If they are not interested in changing times then it could well mean then that for those weekends where the V8s occur, there will be an extra game on pay tv.
