The only number I care about being retired is lord Castagna's #11.
Should be permanently retired and hung from the rafters of the MCG.
I’m lurking in the number changes threads on every team board and this one has easily the most heated debate. I’m loving it
Always loved number 624 is my new favourite number apparently
They all do, that’s why so many left this year…I really do hope none of our players read bigfooty, from the player bashing to the unbelievably high expectations for certain players, it would not be good for any of them haha. Given they quite likely don’t read it people are fine to be excited about the future though, if they were reading though then like RT said we are putting way too much pressure on them.
Whenever this happens you know your either correct or have made a great point
in the conspiracy thread.Melting ice caps is nothing compared to the melting in this thread.
Where are the climate protesters
It's an absolute disgrace.
I echo this sentiment vigorously, could not give a flying f#ck who is wearing what.Am I the only one that has never cared about jumper numbers?
I'm ****ing seething.this is one of the worst decisions the club has made in 25 years
My Daughters dog (Richo)just handed himself into the pound for execution.Miller = #12
jaw dropping
You'd be posting on the norf board if it wasn't for the great manRicho hasn't played for 15 years. Who gives a ****
Tell me you haven't watched a game since 2022 without telling me....The club is so boring... yet Miller gets number 12? wtf
Club is seriously trolling how have MRJ & Miller earnt there jumpers? lucky to be playing AFL.
I think that’s part of my confusionI just hope we don’t treat these numbers like they are high numbers. Dropping 16 for 4 would be a disgrace to the 16 which is a good number. Lalor should keep it for his career. That’s the only thing that worries me. They have given middle range numbers some of which have real significance and I just hope they don’t just go giving the lower ones out in a year to these same players. They should just keep these numbers and make them their own. I get that they want to put 4, 8 and 9 on ice. I’m fine with that
Imagine Lalor getting delisted wearing the #4.Have to disagree here.
Lalor doesn't deserve number 4. Hasn't played a game. Greatest player ever that led the most successful era in history.
That number should be retired for awhile.
Don't be silly. You'd be posting on the norf board if it wasn't for the great man

sorry but Astbury was very deserving of 12, it may have taken time to convince us but he wore it with distinction.I grew up idolising Richo with #12 on my back. To me it's a very special number.
Now for the second time in a row we've handed it to a role playing key defender
