Uncle Mick picked Hampton but with no margin.

Trying to be like one James Hird from the Herald Sun are we???

If i'm ever feeling pissed off or unhappy, all i need to do is look at Jascaves odds for the Bulleen v Prahran match and i will laugh for at least 2 hours.

Did the VAFA actually inspect the Yarra Valley ground at all, or did the VAFA think the ground surface looked like the one at the old VFL Park or even the MCG? It seems to amaze me how the VAFA has a 'Grounds' sub-committee on the Executive yet never actually does what it is supposed to do-inspect all grounds to make sure it is up to playable standard. Why was this game not moved to a ground that has a better playing surface (ie MC Labour Park, Carlton)? I can tell you Boss James Reserve looks a little heavy right now due to heavy rain (Amazing to think that at one stage earlier in the year, there was talk of the VAFA postponing the season due to lack of rain-how things change now!!!), but nowhere near as bad as the Yarra Valley ground. So it's a good idea to get out the flippers and snorkels on-you might drown on the ground!!!

Here's a tip old son.

Before every VAFA game which is played tomorrow (be they U19, Club XVIII, reserve or senior) a representative of each club must sign a ground inspection report to state the ground was deemed by both clubs as suitable for play.

If a club objects and remedial work doesn't enable a game to play, it's called a draw and the points split. Can't recall one occasion in the last 15 years when this has been the case.

You should see some of the grounds we ran around on in the early 90's.....

Fair assessment, although with no disrespect to Therry, they are 4 games off the relegation zone and games against BT, OM, Prahran Peninsula, Yarra Valley and Old Geelong to come, I might have 5 Million on Credit with you for a 10K return - would be a comeback like nothing ever seen anywhere I'd think.

Hope you don't know any way to nobble the results, although for a 5 Mill return it might be worth it. In fact I'm pretty sure if you offered some of the opposition decent incentive they might even rollover for you!

Otherwise, we'll use the 10K to fizz on at the end of the year and see just who "outs" themselves after all of the banter and false identities.

Kew and Richmond Central - D4 in 2004. Reserves played then ground was deemed too unsafe.

Nice accuracy on the first few tips, esp Oakleigh (correct margin), only 10 points out on Pennisula and Mentone, ..........we won't mention Prahran.

Ripper round this week.

The Battle at Boss James should be a beauty - 2 in-form sides. HR shooting for 8 straight. BT knocked them off last time.
Prahran v Penninsula are both up & down like a brides nighty - the loser is probably gone.
Therry v YV - must win for Yarra else its D2 & probably last chance for Therry to register a win who were OK against Mentone. Although YV massive improvers this week compared to Rnd 2 smashing by the Rovers. I'm tipping the heavy track had something to do with it.
Oakleigh v OG's- OG's looking very shakey, Oakleigh clinical.
OP's v Mentone - OP's competitive against Oakleigh (100+ point improvement from round 3 - that would enough to make this game a close one).

Are you kidding me that Therry were ok?? They are worst team in this grade by so much it isn't funny, only kicked 3 goals against Mentone all which came in junk time of the 2nd half. And all they wanted to was fight, they are so slow they needed to hit players behind the play. You are kidding your self if you think Therry did ok.

Saw first half of BT v Prahran then skipped off to another game....anyone shed any light on what the hell is going on? I like Prahran but seriously they were absolutley smashed. Hurts me to say but BT were actually as good as any D1 side I have seen in the past couple of years. Very hot and cold though it seems.

BT have had a couple of big in's over the last few weeks, Chivers and others make a big difference. Make a big difference if you have a midfield that can win the ball and kick it long to a pretty strong forward line.

Crawl back under the rock you came out from, idiot. Nobody likes your constant negativity!!

Good to see OMs bounce back to the winners list after last weeks slip up

This guy must be having a laugh. We've been on top til this week and he can't find one OM player for B&F favouritism. You Hampton people are that far up yourselves. Then there's odds based on ladder positions. Nothing on form? Prahran and OG looked to have slipped and Bulleen found some form. Surprised Hampton aren't listed as favourites.

JC 15- who are you and shut the hell up you w@nker- your doing nobody any favours with your dribble

well said. we had one of our weaker sides in and lost a man early. conditions weren't very good and it was nigh on thuggery. happy never to see them again.
