Im tipping you're talking about Leigh and not Michael Fletcher from the Rovers. Either way, both of them have played across the half back line all year so naming him on the HFF would be like when Pavlich was AA full-back when he didnt play a game there all year.

great - 8 Hampton Rovers players- sitting 3rd- 1 oakleigh player -sitting 1st- at least try to be a little realistic. How about Bromley for a start?

Not a bad effort, but I'm sure you can come up with a better ruckman that Sleight, who as a ruckman, is a pretty bloody good centre half forward. Although now I think of it, there's probably a lack of quality ruckman in D1.

While when I saw Casboult play for OGs he was in the midfield, as opposed to full back. Maybe slot in Woods from Rovers, he's rarely beaten.

Woods would be a certainty.

Woods? Did he get 10 kicked on him on the weekend from an OGS player???
 
Id agree that there is a lack of ruckman in D1.

Sleight is serviceable, not a mega star though. You'll find though how much of a valued commodity ruckman are all around local footy leagues. So higher grades are packed with quality ruckman which leaves lower grades absent with big men. You can always mould a mifdfielder but you have to be born a ruckman.

Waters is probably the other candidate for the ruck posi, so my All D1 team would probably have him on the bench

Woods didn't play on him. He was studying mud and the various forms it takes.
 
Woods was injured in the second quarter and may not play again this season due to a shoulder injury. Matt Terech is the player who would bring aggresion to my D1 All Stars line-up.

Don't give away too much Jase! Bigfooty doesn't need to know our in's, out's, injuries, favourite TV's shows etc.

You would think so. Mind you, he hasnt set the world on fire when he has gone back to play at Parade all year. Which is strange considering he is playing quite well for the Bullants this year.

Considering it's only a team on paper maybe the honour should go to a player that would actually get a kick. Plenty of other forwards that would deserve a spot - Payze (Pen), Cochrane (OM), Bannister (Th) etc etc.
