While I'm here, it seems that Scribe2's lovew child, Danny Jordan, will front up for Rupertswood, after a frustrating time in the WAFL(won the reserves B&F playing 7 games). Fair to say that Dan would be a handy D2 footballer.

Gee that is big news, knowing Dan as i do, does not suprise, the big fish in a small pond would have some appeal to him, as would nights out at the Sunbury local. Quite amazing, cant imagine Ben will be overly impressed last i heard he was joining him in Ballarat but there was some concern about the pull D2 football.

Actually Alphonse, my source forn the Jordan rumour wasfrom a very dubious man.

There is one man however, who walks the corridors of power at Rupo, a man who is quite reticent about his involvement, but who used his grounding at this club to move onto bigger and beter things at a local VFL club.

Mr Benjiman (.) Carbonaro, over to you!

Phone was lost in Fitroy st in the dark hours on Sunday morning. Two years of random chicks' numbers, rumours and witty comments have gone down the tube.

Anyway if Plapp plays for SKOB, my flatmate has plunged to new debths of "giving me nothing". They are very good mates so it would make sense though he gives little away. I was actually refering to Mr Gerstman, who I believe is heading to SKOB. I'm just trying to picture the Beaumaris backmen who would encounter a forward line consisting of Gerstman, Mckee, Plapp, Chard, Lucas et el.

I would be interested to know if anyone could come up with say, three degrees of seperation which links those well known Jesuits Mark Graham and Aaron Lord to Xavier College.

Scribe 2, I certainlly hope that the phone did not contain any photos ala Paris Hilton. It may make interesting viewing to the 'queer' folk who inhabit Fitzroy St on nights that they aren't going toe to toe with the great hawk of 23 fame.
In regards to Gerta, it seems that not even you know when to keep a secret. I can reveal here however that young James has officially pulled on a SKOB jumper last Monday evening at St Kevins for the first time.
M Lucas has been working hard on his best mate for years, and it's fair to say that if Tapps wasn't sacked from the Scotchies, then James would still be striking the fear into opposition backmen in A Section next year. Oh yes, the job at SKC probably helped, but that was gained purely on merit.
So, unfortunatley for the B Section clubs who thought they could get away with a weak defence, try your luck on McKee, Chard, Garvey, Plapp,Garlick, Lucas, Giansiracusa, Gertsman and any other local football goal kicking machine that our recruiting division lands at the swamp, the home of B Section football....bring on Collegians and Simon Arnott!!!

In regards to D Jordan, I believe coin, coin and more coin is the phrase ringing out of the Commodore on the way to Uni every day. Would not surprise me to see him land at East Burwood with his littler but older bro.

BS

Some very impressive names there, but like last year, Gerta was linked with every club in Metropolitan Melbourne that had either $$ or jobs or both for him.

Good luck with it all, think it might be a showdown between SKOB and the Lions again.

Two Japanese Internationals have been linked with St Bernards see here, they are currently at the AIS draft camp in Canberra and will be coming to Melbourne to train with Essendon for the next two months. I assume this is due to the link between Madden and Sheedy? We did see this last year with the annual US scholarship holder training with Essendon gaining an audience with the Snow Dogs but eventually playing with the Blacks.

I'm sure St Kevins will do well next season in B Grade (maybe even win it). I'm also sure they will finish last in A Section in 2007 and blame their bad season on injuries!

My mail also tells me that McKee will be playing for Mytleford next season and wants to train with Old Xavs during the week.

After McKee's 2005 season we'll have him training with the crocs in 2006. :p

Not if he wants to keep his job at KPMG...

The Crocs may need him after their choke in the GF against SKOB.

Even with the IR reform I don't think KPMG can sack McKee because he wants to change football clubs.

Yes, its is in fact true that Mark Graham has signed with OX. Unfortunately we were unable to match the financial offer that Xavs put to him. Silly bastard left a message on a SKOB committee members phone that OX were going to 'pay' for his sons education at Xavier for the next couple of years.
At least we finally have evidence that Xavs do offer incentives. Good luck to Mark though, he is a terrific fella. SKOB will move on and target someone in their mid twenties, not mid thrities as Mark will be next year.

Yes, Mark Graham will play for OX next year. However he will recieve NO financial reward. He will play at OX because he has a few friends there and he HOPES that he may be able to get his sons on the waiting list at the school (which is very hard to do). Schools fees at $15,000pa would obviously never be paid. Anyone who believes in this conspiracy theory has there head up their arse.

When St Kevins won the battle for McKee last year did you ever here any OX person complain or put rumours around that he was being paid!

Mr Speaking, you are just a jealous and very bitter old man.

The strong word going around is that there is a big walkout at SKOB.
Pope, Chard, Simpson, Merachani, (their best 4 young players) Bowles, Garvey, and more!!!
Gerta happy at scotch, i think it was the other way around, if tapping had of stayed, Gerta might have left.
By the way, why is it always SKOB pumping up their so called recruits?

Beware the Protestor!

Who cares if someone gets cash or a job or a kid into a school. It is still the best football competition in Australia.

Marchesani is going, that's it.

Diva, who are Mark Graham's mates at Xavs?

The only reason people have money queries when Xavs lure a big name is becaues they know the reaction they'll get from the Xavs blokes. It's like what you get told at school if you're being bullied; if the bully gets a reaction, he'll keep going and going. Exactly what everyone does with Xavs!

PS. Apparently Richard Taylor is headed for the beautiful surrounds of University Oval;)

I hardly think my reaction to comments from some postings has been severe...on the contrary they have been quite tame. Just telling it how it is!

Haha, your kidding yourself scribe 2.
Know for a fact that Pope is training at Sandringham with the intention of getting on their list, if he doesn't, he will not be playing at SKOB.
Simpson is training at Box Hill with the intention of making their list, which he should.
Chard to play in the Mornington league for $$.
Marchesani to the bendigo league for $$.
Garvey and Bowles to retire.
Also, a few other young senior players to head overseas...

Pope is kidding himself and would be no great loss
Doubtful that Simpson would make it at the Box
Chard i believed was definitely playing
Garvey still wants to play though he has a bad foot
Bowles only played a handful of games last year anyway.
