Game was called off due to an out of hand mellee. Only officials were involved only an interchange steward caught in the middle of it and a few trainers no spectators were involved however.

From what I saw the melee was started by Bentleigh. However BT taking the fight out on points.

A shame to see BT robbed of 4 points.

So a note to other clubs if ur in need of a draw rather than a loss and game looks over before half time, stack a blue on.

Bentleigh also under a suspended sentance at the moment, so tuesday nights hearing could be very interesting.

there were coaching staff involed, not fightiong.. breaking it up mate!

there were a few cheaps shots in the first and wat was played of the second by both teams really and one got out of hand n neither team backing down it just escelated from push and shove to an all out brawl... and then umps called that game off. disapointing result for both sides, im pretty sure all the word was no1 had been reported but will be a major investigation at VAFA headquarters to come!

JYD you continue to be a moron. 7 goals to 0 up, who do you think would start an all in brawl? I'd probably guess Bentleigh.

The only reason officials were in the area of the fight was because it was in the vicinity of the BT bench. They however, were not involved on a physical level in the melee.

The only reason that there were no concussions was because BT's hardest hitters were breaking the fight up!

Bentleigh simply proved that they are the rable of the competition. No heart, brains or any signs of resembling a football team.

Ivanhoe - are they in a slump at the moment? Only beating MHSOB by 6 goals and giving them a 4 goal qrt time break!

Bentleigh - surprise, surprise to hear their involved in a all-in brawl...who would have guessed!

Oakleigh - can't see them being a force but certainly disagree that Paola is no good. Very good player for the krushers.

White Goodman - excellent dream team and again highlights his genius at understanding football.

Sandman, what are you talking about, there were Bulleen Spectators who jumped the fence and jumped in the brawl, big guys they are!

Bentleigh had 3 spectators there at most, a mum, a team manager and a 4 year old brother of one of the players, bulleen are an absolute joke, they are a bunch of hero's IMO... especially that monaco bloke, who tried to take out our runner in the first game!

And saying bulleen got the points from a fight, bentleigh had an u17 player playing with them who laid 5 bulleen blokes on their arse!

If your gonna tell the story, tell it properly!

Biggest hero and there teams most selfish player. Junkyard will now jog his memory of a great hero moment of Mr. Monaco. OE V BT few weeks back 50 Out Into the wind leads arising from everywhere within the 50 but know Hero man decides to barrel which ends out of the full from memory... I had to turn around to laugh with my opponent who then started giving him shit haha... sorry just had to add with leftfoot... monaco is the hero of Div3...

Knight Rider will be making his own all-star team and predicted B&F winners soon, however he feels it premature given the regular season hasn't yet been completed. Knighta studies every game and feels it unjust to award players will undue accolaides at this point.

Jones and Te Hennepe however would be in contention for the major prize.

MEGA will add his thoughts. firstly it has to be a big name from a wining team, and captains always have a better chance at junior level simply bc the umps recognise them more. MEGA's hot tip is delmonte for coleman and B&F, he might be shadowed by the other big names down at OI thou, but i think his name could get him over the line.

jones another possibility but i just dont know, does he have the name to get recognised by the umps?? bc we all no that best legues arnt that accurate.

also does anyone no why BT's results and team cant be accessed at all on VAFA's web page.

also, gull, MEGA likes your team, i would make one swift change thou, i would promote JA to capt and start him down at FF where he plays best, althou if he was in the middle of the ground everyone could hear his quick, witty and oh so true humorous calls, not just the lucky backman he gets.

I have played against BT and Bentleigh and I have no doubt the problem with this fight was because of Bentleigh. The BT players are hard at the ball but I wouldn't say they are hard at the man.

Knowing the two sides I reckon the BT players would have walked away upset that they never got to finish the game and take the four points. On the other hand the Bentleigh boys would have walked away upset at being beaten up.

thats true, its so hard to tell wen either the best arnt sent in or they are dodgy as n really arnt the best six. wen u think about it, there are alot of good players in this comp n the b&f i reckon could go anywhere...

Probably the best way to guess who will be B&F would be for people to name their guess for club B&F. From that you would have to assume a top 4 side would produce the winner.

Good point about Lucisano (#23) , will win BT B&F by a county mile. However BT only have the 5 wins to their name, and almost every time a player from the winning side will be awarded the 3 votes. Expect him to poll in the wins and add a few from the losses. So i would guess he'd be around the 14-18 mark.

Captain Coulston (#3) also has been good in BT wins so he could also poll well for BT...as said about captains polling more than the average player.

Throw in Monaco (#18) as he kicks goals and stands out.

So give an opinon on your own teams B&F and not just who has the most number of best's on the VAFA website. Together we could solve this one before the B&F night

Bulleen Templestowe and Bentleigh charged with a major melee which allegedly occurred in their under-19 match on Saturday August 11 which caused the match to be abandoned.
Both clubs pleaded guilty and were fined $600. No game credits to be recorded.
