Round 10 Tips as Knight Rider sees the action panning out this week...

Bentleigh v MHSOB - Bentleigh at home again this week and looking for a win after coming close against OE last round. MHSOB will be better for the bye and might just drop a few from the seniors as their playing OE seniors, whom will smash them silly. So the action will the tight but Bentleigh are much improved (24pts).

Ormond - Bye

Essendon v Mentone - These teams last met in round 1 with OE getting the chocolates at Keysborough. Will be a tough ask for Mentone to come out to the west and take the points, but with schoolboys in for the visitors they will be much improved. However, Essendon too have a few schoolboys in and should get another win (35pts).

Trinity v Oakleigh - big game for both teams but more importantly for Trinity. Two games behind Oakleigh so a drop here will almost settle the top 4. Trinity at home and with senior/injured players back will get the job down against Oakleigh, who seem to struggle away from home (16pts).

Bulleen Temp v Ivanhoe - you can't see Ivanhoe dropping this one although Bulleen are a physical team, which might worry the visitors. However, I think their probably just too quick for Bulleen so another big win coming up (60pts).

Best of luck to all, and tell 'em Knighta sent you!

Never mind the return of Mega, where are Whitey's Winners this week? I dont think anyone can go into tomorrows round of footy without knowing what the great man thinks of the weekends matches! Come on Goodman, lift your game....

Wouldn't get to hung up on OT this week Knighta. Have about half the side out through injury and travel. Things aren't looking too good. Have only JUST fielded a side for the big match, but we'll see what happens!

Unlucky LJ,

Very much rated you fella's!

Good bunch down at OT and with a full strength side I believe you boys couda nearly matched it with OI!

Good luck to everyone this weekend, should be a good weekend of footy, looking forward to it!

Cheers Lefty,

All the best to your boys on saturday, i'm sure you'll bring home the bacon against BT. Watch for the turf though out at Ted Ajani...... possibly worse than WA Scammel.

LJ,

Hosing things down nicely there at the Marles Fields.
Every chance you will catch those Krusher boys napping!!!

Good luck

Yeah ive heard that scammel atm is more like a farm with goal posts!

As for traveling to Bulleen this weekend, unfortunately i dont play for OI but do believe they will be bringing the bacon home!!

Looking outside, it is bucketing down... could be a messy day for footy tomorrow...

Also, whats the latest with Old Trinity knighta, have any blokes been interested to head down your way??

Scribe...... you are truly one of a kinda, absolute champion of the VAFA! Have you set a date for your long awaited return to the Marles Fields?

Joshin mate but we'd love to see you down here. All the best to the Reds for the weekends games.

Oh will be exciting round of footy tomoro... Rumors flying OE are recruiting Matt Long and thats not it but yes something to watch... Was lucky enough to hang out with Mega Jim last night at Room and yes he is a real person and yes he is a ****** :)

Request B Rek in the mix!!

The Umpiring at the OE and mentone game was absolute digusting. That fossil of an umpire, the w*nker, had no clue what he was doing. Players who went in hard for the ball had free kicks paid against them all day, arnt those players the ones the umpires are supposed to protect? shitfull.

Was the OI v BT game as close as the scoreline suggests or did BT kick some late ones to flatter the scoreboard?

Old Essendon didnt like it hard, they are soft. Against the smaller panthers, they didnt want to go in and get the footy. All you blokes talkin up Benson, shame on you.

couldnt agree more milkman, funny how the OE people who told the forum to stop whinging about umpires saying that they're just maing excuses for their losses are coming out and saying exactly the same thing now that they lost.
accept it, yesterday you were beaten by a better side that still had 8 players playing seniors....

3rd that Milkman. Benson is definately overrated and so are OE. Pity this forum is littered with their crap.

Also OT went down to Oaks by quite a bit out at Bulleen. Not sure of the exact score but the bigger bodies of Oakleigh in the wet weather certainly proved to make the difference at the end of the day.

Umpiring may have been bad but take nothing away from OM they fought hard all day and got the points
As for Bensons form didnt help that he was very very hund over after he went out the night before the game.

yes full compliments to OM. They just had the wood over OE all day, with the OEG boys not switched on from the start. But DO not rip shreds off OEG just yet the next 4 weeks will make or break this team- do not count out the spirit of a team in a state of poor form, a week is a long tie in football

neck up you parrot

Which BT player kept Delmonte goalless.

He should have good bagging rights over all over teams.

Maybe he can tell us how to do it?

Yeah definately needs some recognition!

What was the final result in your game Knighta??

Mega, your boys a bit undermanned?

Old Trinity suprised me a bit, thought the would put up a good fight, guys the boys from Oakleigh were just a bit to strong!

Overall, a good weekend of footy, even though for most, it would have been a scrappy and wet sorta outing!

Just to inform you and the wider bigfooty community, Fable was right on saying that Delmonte didnt play on the weekend. Therefore no one deserves any recognition for keeping him goalless, because it didnt happen. He actually played in the seniors for OI instead..

i do apologise wiggum, White's Winners was cancelled last week. Do tune in this week tho, as it is sure to be agreat episode, with guest appearances from blade, razor and blazor!!

believe it or not, whiteG did tip all four winners this week, and all were within three points of his predicted margins!! unheard of...

a quick preview to this week, will see the return of saunders (take two) who will be a welcomed inclusion back to the OE side, who has recently been branded soft. also, toughnut bell (or alexander graham as he is known to those closest) will return and lift the intensity of his peers!

furthermore, it has become apparent to yours truely, that i have, of late, been rather dissapointing in matchday performances. this is mainly due to the fact that dodgeball has been my priorty recently. however a bye this week wil surely see white return to some form!

mega, i was just enjoying some quality time in front of the box, and happened to tune in to 'im a child genius'. mikael a 3 y.o member of MENSA happened to appear infront of me, and initially i thought of you. i thought he must have been a relative of you, as only someone this smart could parallel your intelligence, however i failed to detect an indian accent in any of your posts....

do you know of young mikael, or is he simply just a MEGA wannabe?? (like so many)
