Outmarked, outbumped, outrun, outscored, outthought, outcoached.
Outpressured, outsmarted. Outrageous.
Need to learn how to tackle to many times last night guys tried to take body instead of grabbing hold of them,I know de goey is a loose wheel but gee wat to have him and Maynard in your side just that hard edge we lack badly

Why is Brennan Cox a ****ing marshmallow? He’s so soft in the contest. Combine the poor athletic traits of Ryan and Cox who were continually dragged inside 50 to compete one on one and were killed. In fact Elliot beat the pair of them, one of the softest poorest passages of play I’ve ever seen. Only made to look competent by the disconnect between brain and body Walker endured for the whole match.

On that, we can agree.

Flog doesn't wanna sign a 500k contract (clearly overs) and then dishes that performance up? Catch ya later campaigner.

Glad this overrated campaigner and his f*ckwit manager will be out of our footy club very soon.

Yup, giving him the microphone has also inflated that ego of his. Glad freo are holding firm

Vent thread so I won't derail too much other than to say I thought he showed immense ticker to find his way back after half time to being not a complete liability. Nothing went right and the harder he fought, the worse he sunk. He somehow managed to keep fighting on and pull himself out a little.

His first half he may as well have been in a Pies guernsey though...
Thought Walker’s game was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Everything that could’ve gone wrong, did. A total liability.

I guess the mental aspect of the big occasion impacted him physically as well. But I didn’t come here to bash him.

I give the guy credit for continuing to work, run and present. He could have just hidden for the rest of the game but he didn’t.

Clark wouldn’t pass the ball to him late in the game, which resulted in Clark turning it over, so obviously the faith of his teammates was tested but he kept getting involved and offering himself as an option.

I hope he won’t be written off after this performance and also that it drives him to improve. It would be hard to come back from something so public but he appears to have the right attitude.

Not sure if it’s a melt but we have been a poor tackling side for years now in terms of technique and physicality and part of that is youth but part of it is surely training and a lack of emphasis on size and strength, favoring aerobic. That’s made us fitter and have less injuries but we are not a strong side, which the remaining finalists all are.

I saw Collingwood as being too big too strong too physical mid year in the wet and same again last night. We need a few players to really build some strength in the gym and become very physical (Chapman, Walker, Erasmus, Treacy, Driz would seem the likely suspects). Johnson as well even but he is more outside

Walker doesn't seem to have a good football brain, he's athletic and can run but not sure what else he brings .Remember Tommy Sheridan never was the same after 1 stuff up in 2015 prelim.Walker had multiples last night. He's gotta work on footy smarts before getting another chance .

Nice melt.

9 out of 10 for old man reg
Just a small sample to show the youngsters how its done. I could have gone on about the game, my ****ing useless Uber driver or what a filthy stink hole Melbourne is, but it was past my bed time.

Everything was surpassed by the screening experience at Melbourne Airport anyway, which is somehow now worse than Sydney.

I'm just glad dementia will soon take these memories from me and I can relax, smile and drool into my soup peacefully.

What a ******* s*t show that was. Pathetic effort to send Mundy off with. This club perennially builds you up just to take a giant steaming dump all over your dreams. ****** umpiring was s*t as well. Holding the ball for a ****** bump? You yellow dog s**t maggot campaigners should all be eviscerated.
Now this is how you vent

Grumpy old bastard 😬

I'm finally at peace with the pathetic display we produced on the weekend. It was real boys against men. That realisation in and of itself helped me process the game and where we are hopefully heading in the next few years.

I also thought JL was a little overwhelmed. I still can't understand why he didn't make more changes eg swing Logue back to defence and cox forward. We were too safe on and off the ground for my liking. Anyway, now moving on and thinking about hopefully a productive off season and another opportunity in 2023.

My weekend was an emotional roller coaster

Saturday started off with a beautiful day on the boat with some PB best fish caught 😁

Followed by a very underwhelming effort by our Dockers 😔

Then on Sunday the Colts team I help coach got beaten in their GF despite being unbeaten all year 😩

But the decompression with the young lads last night was fun as 🤩

Cest la Vie
At least it’s enjoyable watching the Dockers again and there is some real young talent in there to get very excited about

Looking forward to next year , pulling the weeds out of the garden and getting off BF for a while 😁
