IMO, 3 weeks is fair based in the front-on and side-on vision.
What is unfair is that Neale and Hawkins were not given harsher penalties for their umpire contact.

Not sure I see the logic in your first point, as for the "ban" on Sydney that was for "poaching" Franklin from GWS, who the league wanted as their marquee player up there.
I don't think the afl management is to blame, they would love GWS to have a successful finals run, especially when so many western Sydney people are stuck at home wanting to watch some sport on free to air tv. The vic media a different story as by kicking GWS they make themselves more popular with the Victorian viewers. I wish it hadn't happened, but Toby does need to change slightly in my view.VFL hierarchy have got their wish.
