[Giant Strides]

Seeing some players being signed to Giants for the VFL team in 2024, we'd better start a thread to collect those signings!

Gothard is finding a lot of the ball and finds himself in so many scoring positions, but I’m a little worried about his disposals. He lacks polish. Creative and hard working but I worry about his finishing.

Cadman too good for this level. Peatling and XO dominant. Stone even looks really good, but I know after his poor AFL outings earlier this year, his future at that level is just about done.

Derksen looks great in defence, Fonti with some nice signs.

Leake looks good. Jones so dangerous and his pressure is excellent.

I just popped onto make the same comment. Has helicoptered 2 set shots at goal and not made the distance.

One of the reasons that the VFL are back winning is having fringe AFL players back in the midfield. Peatling, XO and lesser extent Wehr make such a difference to the fortunes of the rest of the team.

Cadman kicks his 5th. I really like the look of Leake. Seems so composed, assured by foot. Screams AFL player.

Fonti too, I get the same feeling.

I wish Stone would look this good at AFL level.

Love how the commentator at 24 minutes of the last quarter and 21 points down saying Southport is still in with a chance.

Has gone to the Brian Taylor school of commentating.

Nice kick from Wehr on the boundary to seal it.

I saw that as well, but my thoughts are more inclined towards putting it down to fatigue. He's a genuine 2-way runner and he's had a very interrupted season.

His disposal is quite clean and effective.

He has been playing well, thought he was very unlucky

Early with Gothard they were saying the reverse, only getting 12-15 touches but being very dangerous and classy. Needs to get both going.
