Geelong with their midfield from temu is now the vfls last hope. Hate to see it.
Na we still claim your mob and the swans as vic clubs

I don't understand your first point. If you had only one umpire from SA umpiring a Port Freo game, that seems fine. The other three are from elsewhere including one from WA.
My first point is that you don't want any biased umpires. And if you think umpires are biased by thier local state media - don't have any from the states with the most biased media - SA and WA.

Your contention that they are the most biased media is highly debatable. I think in every state the meda is biased towards the fairytale teams from that state, especially come finals time. So why have 90% of the umpires immersed in that bias for the Vic fairytale teams, instead of 25% of them? No reason, unless you're comfortable with Vic bias

So two Northern teams haven't sold out a 23,000 staium for a final. We could be watching the Premiers. Yet somehow rather than the AFL having done a good job of equalisation that gives these small clubs a bloody good chance of winning - there is incredible unfair vicbias ruining the comp ...

15 premiers out of 17 from Victoria- coincidence
1 semi final between GWS and Brisbane - proves there’s no #VICBIAS
Ah Victorians, never change.

Did you understand my point?

And yes, coincidence. If you think the AFL or anyone could rig a comp where non-vic teams are usually up the pointy end but not usually the best - then you're off with the fairies. Rigging it to make non- Vic teams regularly better than the big vic clubs though supposedly rig it for...

You keep stating the same words like they actually are facts.
Whilst ignoring the facts.

It’s boring. But top marks for persistence.

Or a Swans-GWS Grand Final. A bit more likely to be honest. All this fluff about how important it is the play
the GF at the MCG forever when 2/3 of the people in the ground on the day don't actually support either team.
At least most of the people at the Semi tonight and the SCG Prelim next week will actually care who wins.
Everybody knows PFs are the real fans biggest game of the year.

GF at the SCG, you have barely 10k Sydney members getting access to a ticket.

Having the GF at the G ensures that the most amount of fans of BOTH teams can watch their team live.

and this posts shows you do not understand, or deliberately don't understand why non-Victorian fans are unhappy with the situation as most people are not arguing the AFL is actively trying to make non-Victorian fans lose. We are arguing that there are advantages built into the AFL system, that perhaps are not deliberate, but the AFL clearly have no interest in correcting.

20,000 regularly out-compete 100,000. But hey that 20,000 must be against a disadvantageous system, because they haven't won the comp yet...

20,000 what?
Members.

How are Northern States teams complaining about bias rather than thanking the AFL for their equalisation laws that give you a chance and their recruiting laws that probably tilt it in your favour ? It's mind-boggling.

The two vic teams who "earnt" the right to a home final are the only teams who don't get one.

Dogs in week1 didnt get to play at Marvel, instead forced to play at the G to allow 98K to watch

Cats in week3, wont get to play at GMHBA, instead forced to play at the G to allow 90K to watch

But meanwhile Sydney fans continue to complain 🤣🤣

Travelling from marvel to the mcg qualifies as playing “away” for vic teams is what you’re saying?

As a supporter a small Vic club, there is no Vic bias, there is a greedy AFL trying to milk every single cent that they can. And they enlist the bigger clubs to help achieve that.

Anyone else remember when they first mooted having an uneven fixture , and it was a " don't panic it will be evened up over 2 seasons". That of course disappeared asap, but a lesson in that, do not leave the plan for an even comp on the desk with a window open, it may just float away.

Then in a further masterstroke, they decide to use the fixture as a way of evening up for the bottom sides, they get to play each other twice, bloody nice of the AFL, a cynic may suggest it's a way of getting the shite sides off broad way asap and use them as fillers for the games that generate the big bucks.

Of course the bottom five sides won't ever impact on the x2 Tigers V Pies, Carl V Pies, Ess V Coll , GWS V Syd, Bris V GC, and so on and so on.

It's isn't really a fair playing field and it isn't really a sport, it's about money, yeah it's a business.

They need to be careful, I found myself enjoying the NRL yesterday afternoon and watched the evening match as well.

No.

The two vic teams who "earnt" the right to a home final are the only teams who didn't get one in weeks 1-3 of finals.

The AFL instead fixtures those games at the G to maximise attendance.

And Sydney supporters think they are hard done by, despite the AFL not shifting their game to a larger venue to maximise a crowd until week4 of finals 🤣🤣

Funny you mention the NRL because if you want an example of vested interests favouring certain clubs in a sports league than look no further.

When we had state leagues, there was never an away game, all teams played home games every week.

Is that what you're saying?
The SA sooks pretend that the ground aint important

Port enjoy a home ground advantage when playing at Norwood, because it is in Adelaide.
