Lookout, a tax which charges you depending on how much you use a thing which is put towards building, maintaining and dealing with the pollution of a thing. What a horrible world we live in.
Next they'll be asking us to contribute to thing like services (police, fire brigade, etc) or even *shudder* universal health care and support for people in need.

1- the feds didn't totally bork the vaccine rollout to save a few bucks
2- the feds managed international biosecurity and quarantine like they're supposed to instead of refusing to
3- Corrupt Gladys and nsw took covid even vaguely seriously instead of being arrogant and smug 'gold standard' assholes
4- we closed the border to nsw immediately like wa instead of letting stupid shit like furniture deliveries over the border when we knew nsw wasn't taking it seriously

NRL grand final going ahead!. Got to hand it to Qld gov. Their ability to keep virus out and keep Queenslanders free from lockdown ihas been amazing. Had to use hard borders and other difficult approaches . But it has really worked. Kudos to them. Not sure who i am going for. Probably panthers.
What have they said that's not true? Our slowness to secure and distribute vaccines has been shocking.

We have all understood NSW/Gladys policy position on Covid, i.e live with it & it was tracking along until Delta arrived. Equally Dans/Vic policy has been go early, go hard then Delta arrived.
No cigars there.
Blame the side of politics you choose IF thats your priority.
Delta really did make it worse for everyone hey. Both state and federal governments haven't handled it well, albeit in different ways.
The sad thing is there is no guarantee another resistant strain won't develop.

well, i blamed both. both screwed up badly. state labor with the idea that the private sector would be in any way reliable or capable of the initial quarantine, state liberal with the arrogance to think they could control it without restrictions, and federal libs for being cheapskates and ****ing up the vaccine procurement and rollout, and not taking responsibility for international biosecurity (which is their job) therefore allowing delta into the country in the first place while locking out people needing to return home.
Is that a bit of a myth though?
She was locked down too. They only opened up when we did. The rest of the time they spent 'living with it' was when they had no cases wasn't it?
