This is the final round before the Group Semi Finals(Top 4 in each group). It is uncertain whether the Grading games will be played as when the one day grading games were played most clubs did not take them seriously.

I believe that it's a sat-sat week, then during the grading games/finals the week after its a sat/sun, though don't quote me.

I have Reiffel a few times this year, and to be honest i didn't rate him. For a former quick, he gives bugger all LB's and made a few obvious mistakes. He's really quiet on the field and doesn't offer much after the game.

If you're in the finals, it's a Sat/Sun affair. If you are just playing a grading game, you play one game over the next two weeks, I'm pretty sure (Sat-Sat).

If anything, grading games are most likely to be called off because of the condition of grounds, from what I heard. That was a part of the reason why the 3rd vs 4th play off in the OD competition was called off.

Worst part of the scheduling is that if you are the loser of the group finals, currently a 3rd vs 4th game is scheduled on the same week as the granny. Hopefully that will be cancelled for whichever unlucky sides get stitched up with that one.

Some good individual bowling results on the weekend. That fekete from Rich has had a good year. I read that he's taken 41 at 19! Also good to see Nannes back in form. Geelong seem to use Lindsay in a different role, bowling lower down but still taking 5 fa. Not too sure who Adams is, but took wickets last week as well?

I'm still confused over the whole grading games etc. Are each grading games allowed Ryder votes?

Northcote lodged a protest late last week about Footscray getting their penaly over points back(decision was made Thursday night) and that has got them into the finals. Richmond were put out by that reason and therefore they have also lodged a protest. At this stage I believe it is being heard on Tuesday Night.

Before yesterdays cricket they were a chance of playoing in the finals and I believe they think that they had 13 penalty overs should stand(a los 0.15 points) If the protest is successful Richmond would replace Footscray Edgewater in the Group Semi Finals. The case is Rules are set at the start of the season and should not be changed 2 days out from the final day of the season.
