A younger trig tug in happier times.
The character he’s playing here looks like a western mash up of Grimace and Ronald McDonald. However in Croatia he’s known as “Stretan Burger Covjek”. One of old triggys most loved jobs before moving down under in 1978.
Despite the look on those kids faces having your birthday party at McDonalds in downtown Zagreb was a sign of high society. That young man’s parents must have been doing quite well for themselves. All that screaming and carrying on in front of dear Stretan Burger Covjek would have resulted in a severe beating late on.
