It is going to be a vote between the incumbent Snowden and the returning George.

In hindsight George should never have been turfed out for Wanganeen and it seems that the very reason they wanted to run Wanganeen against him is the very reason we should have wanted him to stay. He wanted to focus on football and footballing success in a board that was focused in neither.

He has a track record if getting things done that are for the benefit of the Port Adelaide Football Club and the members, like the One Club initiative. Similar change is needed now in the quest to return the club to member control.

Snowden on the other hand talks a good game and is adept at politics but at the end of the day his actions speak louder than his words. Especially when it comes to Ken's contract.

I don't think anybody can be complacent about not voting for George. The way the club manufactured votes for Abernathy to try and thwart Tredrea was off the charts. They ultimately failed but it was a very close run thing. George running will be no where near as high profile as Tredrea, so if the club/board pull this type of thing again, George will lose. Implore every member you know to vote for George.

Absolutely.

We are going to need to be every bit as proactive as we were to get Tredders in.

If you have a question for George he has agreed to answer a few if I collate them for him. So let me know what you want to ask and he will do his best.

Bear in mind questions like "will you sack Ken" no director can answer directly as they don't have full control and won't want to speak as an individual on a board matter.

No sack Ken questions hey......hmmm...

Okay. Does he feel like a new coach might give us a better chance to make a Grand Final?

Thanks

I have distilled it down to 4 questions. I am not sure how much he can or should say on some of the topics publicly but...

I know some of you have already voted, but I wanted to give people a chance to submit questions before I passed them on and for those who want to wait for answers hopefully they won't be long.

If the Club gets it's way and Rob gets re-elected, I trust that Kochy will come out and very publicly offer up other meaningful positions on Club committees that George can remain involved in, like they did with their failed anti-Tredrea candidate...
