5 - Swallow - any 18 year old kid that can stand up and control the midfield when the #1 player gets injured and ends up with 22 possies, a massive 6 tackles, 7 marks and 2 goals is best on by a long way. He lived up to his potential last Saturday.

4 - Harbrow - Usual magical best but showed much better effeciency with his disposals. His decison making was greatly improved on previous games.

3- Bock - kept goodes to just 2 goals in a game where he could have run riot if not held. Everything was against Bock in this game - no Ablett - his groin played up - but he showed the grit and determination and leadership that he is known for.

2 - Wilkinson - Has really grabbed his chance in the seniors by the balls. He has shown so much that and well and truly deserves his place in the backline. Shows much better decision making and disposal effeciency than Hutchins/May/Tape put together. Wilko racked up a massive 7 marks and 7 tackles in the game along with 17 possessions. Really worked well with Harbrow and Bock switching the play.

1 - Bennell - Played the game he needed to play, both for himself and the team. Yes he has the talent, he knows how to get the ball - he decision making is still poor at times and his 2nd efforts and 1%'s need to be improved... At least 3 times I saw him give the handpass and so easily could have followed up and provided the sheppard giving our player a chance to dispose without pressure... but unfortunately he just handballed, stopped and became a spectator... but 24 touches in a losing side, when you have so much to prove is a good game and worthy of the 1 vote.
