Sorry for intruding, but I would just like to congratulate the Blues on their support over in Perth. Each year Carlton fans turn up to Subi in full force and it creates a terrific atmosphere. I was sitting very close to the Carlton support and their love for their club is obvious. Unfortunately there were some ********s trying to pick fights with them, but I guess that happens everywhere.

Well done on a great game and all the best in 2012 (as long as it's not above West Coast)

Thanks mate, from where I was sitting the size of the celebrations from both teams was pretty equal in magnitude. Loved it:thumbsu:

I know a lot of Carlton supporters who live over here in the West. Them and Roos supporters seem to be everywhere. Always guaranteed some good banter with them.

The WA Blues are a magnificent organisation and really do the club proud.

Everyone involved should be really proud of the efforts they put forward for our club from a relatively remote part of the country from where the blues are based.

As a club we are lucky to have such incredible support across the land.

Except Roos home games ;)

There was a healthy contingent of blues supporters at the game tonight and I must say it added enormously to the atmosphere at the ground. Kudos to all of you who made the trek across the country to support your team and well done on a great contest, who ever lost could consider themselves unlucky

Good luck next year

was that you trying to be Snoop Dog on the mike?

Hats off, guns. No question you talk it up but when it comes to organising and presenting at games and functions you walk it big as any. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Nah mate,

I was one of the blokes ripping on plugger taking up the door way.

Was giving a bit of abuse out there and singing the blues song
how big was that bloke!
Twiggley's friends seemed.....nice

Awesome to see that many supporters come out of the woodwork and help make such a brilliant atmosphere.

It really helped make the game. Roars for the Blues were just as loud as for WCE. :thumbsu:

I chose to watch the second half from the subi squash club and enjoy a shit load of beer.

Couldn't stand listening to the people next to me ruined the game for me, so had a much better time watching on the telly. Usually eagles fans aren't that bad but the people near me, I couldn't take anymore.

Would of thought the umpiring was so shit for the eagles.... in reality we got ****ed in the ass!

no shuttlecock required

Fantastic night, the WA Blues did an unbelievable job organizing the bar and stuff pre game. Really thought the Blues crowd there were more in to the game than the Eagles fans and I think it really lifted the boys.

Don't think I've seen so many fights at a game of footy either. While we all look around to watch them I still think it's pathetic that people feel the need to resort to violence over a football match.

I've never seen so many fights in a game of footy.. and I'm just referring to the crowd!
That security guard in a head lock up on Level 2 looked to be going over the railing for sure. Pretty sure his walky-talky dropped down on to the people at the bottom.

And then what the hell happened in the cheersquad at the end of the game? Completely missed it.

a carlton bloke right in front of me threw the best 2 punches you are likely to see in an amatuer street fight right onto a w***er eagles nose

that eagles bastard had it coming

most of the night the banter was good between both camps but then it must have got a bit tense for a precious few

this must of been the one I heard about?

Was it towards the city end on the second level? what happened heard a bunch of security people were running over there....

How can you guys defend or support people fighting at the football?

Anyone who does this regardless of provocation is an idiot.. I copped abuse walking back to my car from all different types of Eagles fans, had bottles thrown at me, swear words, even got spit at.. But never once did i consider hitting them.

Regardles 99% of violence at footy games is alcohol fuelled.. I'm 100% in favour of banning that shit at Footy games all it does is induce violence

Agree, though I think you'll find most of the real drunk tools at the footy are the ones that hit the pubs before game time.

Well done on not retaliating. :thumbsu:

I don't mind friendly banter directed at what is happening on the park. And I am always trying to prevent Blues from getting into trouble, hurt or ejected. However taunting the cheer squad due to their ethnic origins and getting personal with individuals-I can understand why post game there was an incident at ground level. Otherwise I just smiled at them and got out of dodge knowing every dog has his day

except Richmond
