Do you know if it will be televised?

Otherwise I will have to rely on detailed reports from yourself and others, which are much appreciated too ofc
Not televised

Subi v Peel lunchtime Saturday is the broadcast game this week

SPP is taller faster has better 20m and repeat sprint records and has better endurance 15 beep.

Having said that Venables is still very quick and has good size, and is considered to have better skills.

But then SPP had 20+ possessions at 100% efficiency, had great impact with his posses on the weekend
I'm sorry but I don't believe SPP is faster than DV.

Some Franky Watson highlights including his smother that resulted in a goal

And some DV vision of his first league game

Watson really doesn't guide the ball down to his foot at all, does he? Might be why some people say he has a laconic kicking action.

DV looks pretty built already and pretty strong through the core.

I actually like the new way the clubs announces wafl reports.that tint a car report was shite and the highlights of the stand out players is what every one wants.

Its a very andrew carrazzo ball drop. I didnt recall that from the vids when drafted. Might have just glossed over it

Agreed it's also good that Luke Webster can communicate well with the media team.

All Jaymie Graham ever talked about in those weekly reports was processes and structures. He probibly said those two words in just about every interview he had.

Just from the highlights so take with a grain of salt...

A lot to like in Venables' highlights. If he can stay fit he might get a run in the seniors before the season is out. Seemed unpanicked when under physical pressure which is something we desperately need in the WC side.

Franky is a very smooth mover. I'm not sure how his looping disposal will hold up the the faster pace of AFL footy and might be something he needs to work on to advance. A lot to work with if we can bring him on.

I noticed it in the initial videos posted after the rookie draft. I thought his kicking looked suspect as hell. But everyone on here was saying how good it was.

I think his main attributes are his amazing evasion. But his kicking doesn't fill you with much confidence. Hopefully it's something that can be fixed.

would be a pitty if that holds him back.

He does have an odd kicking style although at training it's usually pretty good and often quite brilliant

What I have noticed though is that his better kicks are low spearing darts. In a game and this was happening in the practice matches those low flat kicks can get cut off because they don't go over opponents heads

These loopy kicks are a counter to that but he tends to have less control over them. At the moment I think he's working through the adjustment on getting the correct weighting on his kicks, finding the balance when to go with a flat pass or when to give the ball more air

I don't think it's a terminal problem just something he has to work through. Probably needs to speak with Gov who also had an issue early trying to force low/hard passes through traffic
