SPP is a bit of a loose unit and had and still does have bad influences here in WA. Bolton again is a similar story. Rotham was seen as a huge slider who the club wanted but didn't expect to be there for our second pick. Darcy does hurt a bit, people do need to remember though that Darcy Cameron was no star and was very lucky to even get a lifeline after Sydney.

We got Cameron in for a full medical the year prior and my info is that we were planning to use pick 52 on him when at 48 Sydney selected him, we then used pick 52 to draft Willie BailOutBongBoyGatorade.
Darcy was rather immature when he first came up from Albany to play at Claremont.
His development stalled a little, but then kicked up in both his draft year and prior year when he showed some real promise and growth as a player.
The irony, in hindsight, was that the Chevrons, were pissed about missing out on Rotham and not rapt about getting Sean Darcy.
So it turned out pretty well for them, for as time has now shown that Sean Darcy is a quality AFL player and Rotham is a borderline bust.
Would love Cameron on our list now, but you cant have it both ways, as the disappointment of missing out on Cameron was well and truely negated and topped in joy, as without Willie BailOutBongBoyGatorade we would not have won the 2018 Premiership.
I'm not sure about that. I'm pretty certain my son never beat up Shaun outside of the nets or at junior state u17 and u19 comps. I knew and my son knew that his shoulders and back weren't going to hold up to an international career and he only ever made it to 5'10. So despite being able to bowl 140+ at 15/16 I don't think he ever would have made it past state level as his batting just wasn't good enough to be a bowling all rounder. Hence him following the family history and joining the military at 17.
I am however sure if he ever did beat up Shaun he probably posted it on this site (he started this account and got tickets from Keys one time)

My sons name is Phil and yes he does occasionally post. He is in sales and I am retired from finance but have been keeping myself busy. Also both of us have never been to what was dubbed whore island and that was a story about a guy my son worked with who has slept with 4-5 different hookers a week every week for the past 20 odd years working in the house and land game. The only time he doesn't is when he goes on his 4 week surfing trip once a year off a secluded island of indonesia. Phil's younger cousin worked as a surf trainer at the resort on an island not far away last year and they Kelly Slater, entourage and a surfing magazine reporter was with them.
Also how the guys dick hasn't fallen off I have no idea. I have only referenced it to keep the meme going after travelling to Siquijor island last year. (when the locals say it in english it's pronounced sicky whore.

Come for a beer Phil would be excellent, but please stop calling it whore island (or am I not reading things right?), it really grates, I've lived here a very long time (nigh on half my life) have a born and bred son etc... people stereotyping the place shits me no end, I don't say much but I'm 3 sheets at the mo so will rant, it's a tiny fraction of the place that has people that the government don't give a FF about who are trying to support family's in a place with nothing like social security.
Sorry fellas but it's a real sore point that every one has a crack at those that are so much more unfortunate

Well, the WAFL thread sure got interesting overnight.
Just one on SPS I work with a guy who claims he is SPS's best mate and he reckons he's cleaned right up since coming back. Basically he just got lonely in Melbourne and projected it in questionabe ways. I have no reason to doubt my colleague in either claim, he's solid enough.

He did a bit of media stuff a couple of weeks back and he quite openly talked about using the club psychologist to work on his mental health last off season
He didn’t go into specifics of what was troubling him but did say at one stage it was mostly non-football related
