Didn't see or hear any of the games since they clashed with the Eagles-Roos match (except the Freo derby last night, which clashed with my drinking schedule).

Tony Notte kicked 5 goals for Swans and Ryan Davis was also listed in the best. Hunter kicked 1 goal. Hansen didn't play. Sullivan was named as Perth's best.

Stevenson was listed in Claremont's best, Schofield and Arrowsmith both made Peel's best.

Seaby was named as West Perth's best player.

Jamie McNamara was East Freo's best in a welcome return from a quad injury, Spangher was also listed in the Sharks' best players. Staker was well held by Josh Head.

Instant delisting.

I really wouldn't think so.

Ha Ha, that's exactly what I was thinking, on both counts.:D

Couple of the contested marks from Nottey today, in those conditions, brilliant! Keep Hansen out of the way, play him in the Eagles or Swans ressies, I really don't care.:D And the kicking, he is such a great reader of the elements. Best game in over a month, well done!

Smith was reasonably quiet today but Sullivan, well......20 possies and 44, count them, 44 hit outs!:thumbsu: Had a quick chat to him after the game and said I thought he's played a good game and he just said, well it was tough out there. Down to earth kid.:thumbsu: He also said Ash Smith was coming along nicely.

Davis, sorry almost forgot, but another great game. Armstrong made him work real hard but he attacked when he got a chance and his disposal was pretty clean on a day when there were 50+ stoppages. He's still best used from the midfield with the ability to get a clearance and get away from congestion with his pace. Been a very good sustained vein of form for a month or so.

Stats

Jamie McNamara - 30 possessions, 6 marks, 10 tackles, 7 inside 50s, 1 behind (fair game that)
Matt Spangher - 15 possessions, 7 tackles
Brent Staker - 15 possessions, 4 marks, 1 goal

Ryan Davis - 27 possessions, 4 marks, 11 tackles
Tony Notte - 11 possessions, 4 marks, 5 goals 0 (amazing accuracy and a crumbed goal or two)
Ashley Smith - 9 possessions
Will Sullivan - 20 possessions, 44 hitouts, 1 goal (his best game ever)

Ashley Arrowsmith - 24 possessions, 1 behind
Will Schofield - 23 possessions, 8 marks, 1 goal (on a wing)
Jo.Jones - 14 possessions 6 marks
Eric McKenzie - 16 possessions, 4 marks
Lewis Stevenson - 20 possessions, 4 tackles, 1 behind

Mark Seaby - 25 possessions, 35 hitouts, 5 marks, 6 tackles, 1 behind

Lucas and Jetta both had 15 possessions games and a behind or two. Reasonable output from them

Yeah, Jetta played a more defensive game yesterday. Whether he was tagged hard or what, but he spent more time in the defensive half and didn't really attack that much, but I did notice when he did he struggled to have an impact or get away from his marker.

he is hoping to fly under the radar so we can get him in round 2!!;)

Dammit, if only McNamara's disposal was better, he'd be a great AFL player.

Also Davis - 11 tackles  Has to get a call up for Masten this week.
He's an aggressive little bastard. That pre-season training squabble springs back to my memory. Some real niggle in him, I love it.

When Cox retires, I think Sullivan could be our second ruckman behind Naitanui. Sullivan is more of a "traditional" ruckamn as opposed to Naitanui who is a lot more exciting and could play some time up forward.

These sort of stats really back-up Woosha's thoughts about not giving Fletcher a farewell match.

McNamara is bering touted as a potential delistee, but on those stats you wouldn't dare. The only way to know is to give him another run for the Eagles.

Was Spaanders playing for the Swans? 44 hitouts and 20 possessions against a quality ruckman is damn impressive.

Yep, Spaander's was playing. The only thing that disappointed me is Spannders didn't try and rough Sullivan up, like he normally would.
