Israel told Palestinians in Rafah to flee to a 'humanitarian area'. This is what life is like inside
Moataz al-Hasoumy would rather return to Rafah and face death than continue trying to survive in Gaza's so-called "humanitarian area".
He fled from Rafah with his five children to the coastal Gazan area of Al-Mawasi when Israel started its invasion into parts of the south in early May.
The father, and hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, were told by Israel that Al-Mawasi was in a "humanitarian area" that had been expanded.
But Moataz says the conditions are so inhumane, that he would rather return to Rafah and die.
"There is nothing to live here for. Who would accept to live like this? A dog is leading a better life than ours," he said.
"I am going back to Rafah, even if I die, it is not a problem for me.

He calls them human shields all the time. But when his IDF friends and family do it, apparently it's health care.
Weird how when Israel use human shields, no one kills them. But if Palestinians do it, Israel shoots them or blows them up.

Even if they strapped him on there to take him to hospital, it's not a safe or humane way to do it. There would have to be very good reason why he couldn't have gone in the back.Looks like there off to a hospital to me.

But at least Israel is a real country so incidents like this will be investigated and any wrong doing punished hopefully, instead of celebrated and just standard procedure like terrorists would do.

The horrific reality is this happens in pretty much all armed conflicts on both sides (aggressor / invader and those responding to them).
Things would be much better off if a war wasn't sparked in the first place. There needs to be a framework in place to prevent such a war being declared again and if it does a path towards de-escalation to protect innocent civilians on both sides.

Iran's the common denominator here. They need to be hauled in front of a war crimes commission alongside Israel and their proxies. There's no attempts at peace by Iran, they don't even provide anything except offensive weapons for Hamas/Hezbollah/Houthis.
