Oh yeah Israel hated watching the Maronites slaughter Palestinians, while they supplied them with weapons, tanks and training.

Hell the IDF were nice enough to block the exits from Sabra and Shatila and light them up with flares to make the massacre of civilians easier!

Hezbollah flag at a protest - barely worth mentioning either apart from how it relates to Australian laws regarding hate symbols.
 
Why would certain flags and symbols be banned? Various groups are triggered / offended by all sorts of symbols e.g. aborigines being offended by the Australian flag on Australia day. Are we banning everything that's offensive to anyone now? What has been banned?

Why wouldn't Israel aid the Maronites when they were fighting the PLO?

Same reason Jordan went to war with the Palestinians.

To stop them overthrowing their Governments.

It turns out she was fired for defending the Hamas terror attacks and also for spreading deliberate misinformation about the Ah-Ahli hospital massacre which Hamas perpetuated on Palestinian civilians - not Israel.

She removed the post and her last name from her linkedin account after being terminated. No Jewish lobby conspiracy to be found here.,

Not sure on the exact law but anything that can be linked to terrorism or cause offence (eg Nazi salute) has specific laws against it.

I would say anyone who displays the flag of an officially designated terror group in Australia is probably breaking the law.

It's an offence to promote, praise or offer support to any proscribed terrorist organisation, for example ISIL/S and Hezbollah. Raising their flags is an offence.

And they never mention that Hezbollah's justification for attacking Israel "to help free the Palestinians" is nonsense when Hezbollah itself oppress it's own Lebanese people under their rule.

No wonder they have such poor support in Lebanon.

A lot of in house cheers in Lebanon must have gone on when their leadership was wiped out.

We can only hope the same ratio applies in our own Lebanese community. The marches and memorials taking place are not a good look 🙁.
