Many Yemeni Jews actually refuse to go to Israel. I believe the people in Zidane's story settled in Egypt, with the help of anonymous Arabs.
Yemeni Jews are grouped along with Iranian, Iraqi, Egyptian and Palestinians Jews and labelled Mizrahi Jews in Israel. Something akin to British colonialists calling people Orientals.

Why do you peddle easily debunked misinformation when you seem like you're an intelligent person. Why not fact check your talking points? Israel invented the word Mizrahim to strip Arab Jews of their histories as they tried to do with Palestinians.
I'll do a little write up tomorrow.
