Current WAR CRIMES Israel - * ICC issues warrants for Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu & Yoav Gallant & for Hamas's Mohammed Deif

The ICC has also issued a warrant for Hamas leader Mohammed Deif, who Israel says they have killed.

According to the ICC, the chamber “found reasonable grounds to believe” that Deif was “responsible for the crimes against humanity of murder; extermination; torture; and rape and other form of sexual violence; as well as the war crimes of murder, cruel treatment, torture; taking hostages; outrages upon personal dignity; and rape and other form of sexual violence”.

It also said there were reasonable grounds to believe the crimes against humanity were “part of a widespread and systematic attack directed by Hamas and other armed groups against the civilian population of Israel”.

For Netanyahu and Gallant, who was replaced as defence minister earlier this month, the chamber “found reasonable grounds to believe” that they “each bear criminal responsibility for the following crimes as co-perpetrators for committing the acts jointly with others: the war crime of starvation as a method of warfare; and the crimes against humanity of murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts”.

It also found reasonable grounds to believe that “each bear criminal responsibility as civilian superiors for the war crime of intentionally directing an attack against the civilian population”.

I guess you didn't bother to read the part prior to that or following it?

This just seems incredibly unlikely to be true considering the the UN revised its numbers of women and children as well based on these reports from 69% to 52% in May. I havent seen any reporting that comes close to this demographic imbalance of women and children being killed since then.

It's widely accepted that Hamas have been decimated. We know they are being killed in large numbers.

The same tired quibbling about statistical ratios from a government in the first weeks under an unprecedented bombardment 24/7.

This is undignified.

Al-Hamidiyah was specifically mentioned

The IDF has blown up a massive weapons storage facility in the Tartus region on the coast, same general area as al-Hamidyah.

The Russians were there but since they left, it looks like some Islamist factions are back out on the roads carrying on.

From the linked article:

So the Gaza Ministry of Health is a reliable source now?

We knew all this already though, there was a change in demographic breakdown because of the change in reporting only demographic data from identified (e.g. named) deaths.

It's quite possible some of those tens of thousands of deaths have been mistakenly listed under an incorrect demographic. But it's also quite possible that a number of dead aren't listed at all given the scale of destruction and displacement.

Overall I suspect the long-term outcome will be that the death toll is undercounted.
The overall death toll is probably close to being accurate, it may be under-counted or over counted, but I think it's probably close to being right for total casaulties during the war. What is being questioned is the demographics and whether people dying as a result of causes other than the IDF are being counted in the tally as though Israel killed them.

Obviously the Gaza Ministry of Health is not a totally reliable source as they don't count combatants and seemingly have included people not killed by Israel at all as well as having inconsistent accuracy in their reporting on demographics.

The table shows Gaza Ministry of Health numbers and reports from early in the war which have been revised down in terms of the proportion of women and children. I believe the Ministry of Health numbers in the table include the Gaza Media Office numbers which had included data that turned out not to be accurate later, which is why the demographics were revised down and why at times they were reporting increases of women and children being killed that were higher than the total number of casualties that occurred between the reporting dates.

It's not totally transparent, but that appears to be what happened and why we can believe that those proportions of women and children killed early in the war that were shown in the table were wrong.
Colour me shocked
I am not saying this is 100% verified, just worth going over and looking at. The analysis seems to be pretty thorough, but how widespread the misreporting is I still want further fact checking. It does seem that there is errors that are worth further investigation though.

I doubt the total death toll is accurate.

Looking at the scale of urban destruction I suspect there's a lot of bodies under there.

The 45000 isn't from just bodies counted, it includes reports of families and communities of missing people believed to be deceased, so it would include a number of people under the rubble.

Relevance to the thread? Or you just criticising Jews in general or something?
Just the AJA making up stories to suit their agenda, obviously nothing to do with war crimes but funny all the same everyone called them out for such a bullshit story.

Replacing a dictator with another dicatator....

I don't think that Syria is seen as a threat to anyone at the moment.
Except the neighbour bombing their facilities.

Or is this just for sport?

You know Israel is taking out weapons facilities and anything that might be used against them in the near future.

Given HTS is issuing directions to other factions in Syria to hand their weapons in, disband their training camps and get out, leads me to thinking they don't care much if Israel helps them mop up by removing the potential threat that may also give them a problem.

Key word here is might.

If Syria took out an Israeli facility there would be hell to pay. They don't get special treatment because they are Israel.

It's called defence.

Al Assad and the Russians are gone, whatever they left behind that was used against the people of Syria including chemicals, should be destroyed imo.

Israel is calmed and this also gives the new government a better chance moving forward. The people appear to accept HTS, whatever's left of ISIS, won't. Why should they have access?
